"There are some people who are able to deal with Putin...if they would have a good reason to do this, they would do it in order to survive."
Russian threats of a nuclear strike reflect 'panic' in the Kremlin as US begns to lift restrictions on donated weapons being used to strike Russia, Yuri Felshtinsky tells #timesradio

Yes in 2014. Actually even earlier, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, when Russia was PROMISED by the US that the Nato would not move one centimetre closer to Russia. And then the Americans decided that as the Unipolar power they wanted rid of Russia and access to all her raw materials. And then the US used the EU to try to separate Ukraine from Russia's sphere of influence. Imagine the attitude if Russia had done in Mexico what the US has done in Ukraine. America would be outraged and sabre rattling. But because it's the US doing it, it's all about muh' Democracy...not US Imperialism in any way.

what he says is so detached from reality, to the point of incoherence, that it seems obvious he's deep into wishful thinking. Russia will stop "if only we strike Moscow"? absurd. there is probably no scenario where "the West wins this war while it's still a Russia-Ukraine war" (a very strange phrase which seems to both deny that NATO is at war with Russia while implicitly acknowledging that it is). without NATO troop commitments to the front, Ukrainian defeat is likely just a matter of time.

Russian agents point to the bombing of Belgrade, Tripoli, and actions in Afghanistan to assert that NATO is offensive, but the counter is always to point out that NATO does not take those countries over. @tl8231 Kennedy never threatened WWIII. The point was that the missles were long range ballystic missles that could have reached anywhere in North America and large portions of Central and South America. This would have the US under direct threat. There was still much of the Monroe Doctrine view of this hemisphere that remained, and officials at the very highest levels of the Soviet government were discovered to have blatantly lied to their American counterparts in the State Department about ever placing missles so close. Strategicly they already lost. Kyiv still stands and the ukrainian government was not removed. The russian economy and demography received damage for decades to come. NATO got two new members and now controls the Baltic Sea. Ukraine s allies have about 30 times the economic power of Russia. You need to understand that Russia is not the soviet union anymore.

Thank you for your honesty and insights. As you probably know, the VAST majority of people in "the West" are not against the Russian people. On the contrary many "Westerners" are very interested in Russian language, literature, art, history, geography etc and would be more than happy to live peacefully alongside our fellow global citizens. The over-whelming feeling in Western Europe (at least) is that this illegal, unwarranted invasion of Ukraine by Putin is an utter tragedy. 🙏

@@sheshatheblackqueen That is a shame, because we people in the west DO respect your culture and history, it is a shame that you say it is not reciprocated, we also believe that the majority of Russians do not want this war but are controlled by your authoritarian government which controls all elements of the courts, the media and the law in general and uses them against their own people in order to exact control through fear and force, because of this we feel truly sorry for what you are going through. We think that it is a shame that the Russian government feels it is ok in the 21st century to invade its neighbours and start war, a war that it WILL lose and already is, one that will destroy its already failing economy and sink a great country back many decades in its developments whilst also sacrificing hundreds of thousands of its men for your leaders own ambitions and sending all of its intelligent young people fleeing to other countries to escape conscription. The headline on this video is hilarious. Perhaps it was a typo and meant to be stated precisely backward? Anyone who pays attention knows Russians are advancing westward towards the Dnieper River and that the Ukranian military has been decimated and is in its last throws. There's a reason NATO is panicking with all the talk of troop deployments and Western weapons now striking inside of Russia.

How could they be winning? 1:The Ukranian soil, now under Russian controll, represents 18% of Ukraines' total land mass, and 90% of Ukraines' GDP.2: In order to simply SURVIVE,Ukraine has to win back lost ground,as economically Ukraine is 100% DEPENDANT on the West.3:Russia as it first stated at the break of hostilities, that IT WAS FIGHTING A WAR OF AGGRESSIVE ATTRTION against Ukraine,so ground/ soil is of little value.4:In CONCLUSION,with Ukraine forced to win back lost ground, all that the RUSSIAN ARMED FOCES has to do is build AN IMPREGNABLE WALL,wait for the Ukranians to come into THE MEAT GRINDER,where they will be eliminated EN MASS.Since Russia invaded Ukraine in Feb 2022,and with the current TOTAL MOBILISATION in Ukraine, this will be THE THIRD TIME,that the Ukranian Armed Forces, has been rebuilt. SIMPLY THAT IS HOW A WAR IS WON.

500,000 is projection. Ukraine is down to its last 250,000 troops, and the Russian strategy has been one of attrition to grind Ukraine's army down and has not been about taking territory. Soil and trees are not the enemy. Soldiers are. You see the focus?

Hello and greetings from Germany. 🤗 No other European country is as strongly influenced by Russian nuclear weapons threats as Germany. These threats seem to be specifically targeted at Germany. I also believe that our Chancellor was directly threatened by Putin with the use of nuclear weapons on Berlin. Since we do not have nuclear weapons and are a wealthy country, we are a preferred target of Russian threats, propaganda and disinformation.
