This is my personal opinion on gems building Join our State of Survival Offical Discord: / discord #catzilla @CatZillaGuides #stateofsurvival @StateofSurvivalOfficial
Thx for the guide, think I need to dismantle some of my own, and then do it right. I know this isn't the right video to ask this next question about, but what path/nodes would you recommend upgrading on the TRex, using the biobatteries?
One issue that really annoys me is the missuse of % in this game. To give an example, the 134% added attack in your perfect gem, is not adding 134% to your hunters attack. If the attack is 3,500, adding 134 will make it 3,634. If it was a true mathematical us of % then it should make the attack (3,500 + 134%) 8,190😅 in reality, it is approximately 3.8% added. How does that compare to a special gem adding 5% hero final damage? Damage is usually regarded as attack x lethality. So surely 5% added damage is better than 3.8% added attack?
the whole problem isnt about that 5 % hero final damage . the side Stats is a game-changer if you get the best sides ! for example, if you get a 134% with 3 Final damage ( could go up to 2.8-3% final damage or almost 2% behemoth damage that game changer if you can get alot of it . the game tricks you with RNG and its dirty , plus stats effects more than one factor for example it adds behemoth damage, hero final damage, and aircraft damage and get amplified by attack amps % . while 5% final damage looks great in paper ! but its so damn hard to get it alongside a decent stats ! so let me say this again what are the chances you will be getting a decent final damage gem with decent sides , just imagine enemy behemoth with 12-15% behemoth damage ! , Final damage gems are great ! but you can grow stronger focusing on the rest until one day you are damn lucky with a decent Final damage gem with great sides ! it breaks my damn heart to get final damage with 5% defense and attack ! and you if you think about it KG been pushing statues stats alot lately so hmmmm
It would be, but the devs suck and most percentages are ADDITIVE and do not compound, i.e. 2x +50% gives +100% or 200% of original, not 150%x150% or 225% of original. Screwy things are everywhere, like lose to a Dino challenge you usually get 400-500 wounded, but with Lvl7 Joker you can get crazy results like 20K wounded - because he "adds" 7.5% wound rate to the standard 0.2% vs infected ... so here, that +7.5% ends up not x1.075 but more like x30 or x40!!! And then Mikoto has the exact same thing but opposite, a reduction in wounded vs infected - put her even at LVL 1 in a march and -3% becomes ZERO wounded... The maths in their algorithm is a Jenga pile of hacks
@@CatZillaGuidesI agree with you that unless you're a mega uber whale throwing your credit card at packs just to get the absolute max possible... Just focus on buffs on the ones you can pick! I would really like some time myself to do some a/b testing on gems, like I'm just assuming now that hero +damage and -enemy damage are better used on hunters as limitless Jeb and Dylan skills are all damage, but that would yield a lesser result with Daryl who's more about protection. It's easier to figure out that as my behemoths suck hard, I'm better off with a - to enemy behemoth damage than + to my damage
I personally would never go to the "basic gems" for that event. Getting 10 special one is more worth in terms of splinters, compared to the standard one, so 10 attempts spend on standard gives you much less. so 50 attempts on special one give you much more in terms of splinters, recycle them, then you have enough splinters to get the basic one, if you have a lot of crap special ones.
@CatZillaGuides I'm only getting level 5 at the moment but noticed that my Behemoth buffs were giving more troop power than the one's that had a higher %. Not sure if that has any effect on them though.
The whole thing is useless if you are not P11 or higher. You can’t create the better gem above level 4 with a HQ below that so don‘t waist your money and time.
