Did Mike Woodson get any of these transfers or recruits or was it purely donors? Did Calipari ever get a recruit or was it just the donors? How can you talk about the guys that stayed at IU and never tested the waters, clearly because they liked Woodson and then say it was only donors that got the recruits?
There are a number of programs with the same level of donor support as IU. Tucker chose IU because of the opportunity (yes he will be in the rotation), the coach (ask the players that could have bailed) and of course, because of the NIL opportunities. NIL commensurate with the big names in college basketball gets Woodson’s foot in the door . He still has to convince players to choose Bloomington.
Unrealistic and/or racist Hoosier fans ran off Mcneely because they don't like Woodson with all the panic around a 19-14 season off 2 tournaments with Archies players.
In the transfer portal era, a single 5-star freshman may not be ideal, but certainly is worth more than a “2” on a 10-point scale. The entire conference only has four 5-star recruits. Come on.
Indiana has huge fan support which leads to big NIL support. This should worry other big Ten schools. Basketball matters in Indiana and people are ok with spending money to win. Now it is the job of the coach to win. If he doesn’t win bring in someone who will. It think that sums up many IU fans feelings.
The vibes section was spot on. My vibes are incredibly high and so is a lot of the fanbase, however after speaking to my Uncle this past weekend there are still definitely some fans who are pessimistic and are waiting till the results come to feel good.

Ware should be in the top 10 of NBA draft. I think he should be in the top 6 and a ton of NBA teams will regret passing on potentially the best draftee. Mac has the potential to be a first rounder as does Ballo and Myles Rice who is going to shock Smith this coming season. Bigger great ball handler who can change directions speed and make baskets. He won an NCAA game remember that fans.
The team chemistry will be off the charts and we have the protentional a top 5 team. Galloway's love for his program and dedication to defense is going to pay dividends. Ain't no way PU is favored because Edey is gone forever, go IU

He also made the mcd all American game solely because his coach is Morgan wootons son. He didn’t play junior year , had a good not great senior year and his team was barely above middle of pack wcac. Laughable to think he will start. Over who? It’s a very talented roster and he’s a frosh who hasn’t stayed or led anywhere. He might have been 5th best player in the dmv. You're going to get a reality check on Braden Smith this year. Year 1 no Edey will be a statistical step back. You're uber high on Catchings and Colvin but Tucker won't see the floor. Is there a hash pipe emoji on my phone?
I think that the fact that THE BEST incoming freshman was lost did and should play a factor in the scoring. Purdue never even attempted to get a transfer.
