I'm a Native Nevadan and loved the time spent as my awesome dad's constant shadow as he prospected and searched for prehistorical and historical artifacts. He was way ahead of his time. During the 50s and 60s, he instructed me to admire and photograph artifacts and leave them as I found them ~ to never remove them. While traveling in remote areas we would sing Nevada's state anthem! I tear up upon hearing the song.
You're telling me that this song and flag belong to the same state? Wow, the former is probably one of the best state songs, and the latter is boring. (And has the state's name on it. Ugh...)
I'm a citizen from Peru, but I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for some months, and I really loved it here, Southern Nevada was a very chill place and warm place to live in. I feel like I was at home, I feel like it was my second home. If God gave me the chance again to move to another state, I would choose Nevada without a doubt, Home Means Nevada to Me. ❤️🏔️🇵🇪🇺🇲
