How do you determine if your xyz components are negative or positive? I know you do (Initial position - Final) but how do you figure out what is the initial or the final
The x, y, and z axis point out of the Origin at point O in the positive directions as drawn. Thus, for instance D to B is "down" 510 mm in the "negative" y-direction, but the x & z components of that vector are oriented in the positive directions as moving from D to B "increases" their value relative to Zero at the origin O.
