I totally crossed the bar in a sail boat this year near the end of October. We were so lucky to have good conditions.

yup...2:40. exactly why we wear the heavy weather belts when its time for surf training and clip into the d-rings

I was stationed at the Air station Astoria. We worked with these guys training This was the most busy station I was at in 23 years. ADCS George Maroney USCG retired

I notice on more than one occasion that the Helmsman reverses throttles at the time they are cresting the wave, why would they do such a thing?
