Station to Station reviewed by Seth Macy on PC.
Station to Station is a relaxing, cozy railway planner with clear goals, flexibility in how you accomplish them, and the absolute perfect amount of challenge. It doesn't try to be anything more than a fun and easy going experience, and the fact you can randomize levels and crank their difficulty up a bit provides some nice variety to how you approach each session.

What’s the benefit of voxels? Is it a technical thing? Or are they just prettier version of Minecraft blocks? Regardless, this game looks nice.

the benefit is that voxels scale infinitely which basically means if you want to simulate lets say, a whole galaxy, voxels would be the way to go. Especially if paired with an array of PS2 seven core cpu's

What is the difference between Station to Station and Railway Empire? This looks like the same game, but with pixelated graphics.

Station to Station is a puzzle game with specific levels. With the cards you get cheaper options, but you only have X amount of money (in campagne) to do what you need to do. Plus 2 additional challenges with each level. The game also has a no money option and custom mode, but that's in no way the same as Railway Empire. Which is a strategy management game.

8 means great. What's wrong with that? 10 is perfect/masterpiece, which this game isnt. He raved about it and gave it a great score.

The whole scoring system is wrong.. at least out of 10. If they made it out of 100 then that would be better. If he gave it a 10/10 then it would rank up there with Red Dead Redemption 2 and Breath of the Wild. The scoring system is pointless.

@@scottland906 Even if it got a 10 and pairs up with RDR2 and Breath of the Wild that is still fine. You can't just compare games that got a 10 before with a puzzle game like this. Still doesnt mean that a puzzlegame cant get a 10 because a huge open world and RPG like RDR2 got a 10. Agree that the scoring system is pointless overall, cuz you have different genres, different times and tons of other things to think about.

because the game very clearly isn't deep enough for a 10. You can gush about something all you want, at the end of the day you have to be a little objective.
