Great video and looking forward to Part II. It may be worth explaining the battery degradation section may be influenced by software updates and calibration. I’ve only had my Model 3 for 6 months and my range has gone from 264 to 257. The Stats app has helped with monitoring, but some may see this change as a battery issue, but I don’t believe it is at this point.
Hi as a new Tesla owner I’m not using the vehicle much as I transition, I use my other car more as I learn and take small drives. My question is if I leave my car charging most of the time set to 80%, will this cause any issues? I know the vehicle has a BMS and I’ve been told by Tesla to keep the charger plugged in. Your thoughts please?

Is the iPad version different?....looks pretty different to what is shown. How do I find what Version is installed? When will there be an Android version?
Hello, can anyone please tell me if stats allows a historic view of battery degradation? My model 3 was charged in a garage up to 100% and left for a day without moving. When I left the car, scan my tesla showed a batt degradation of 1,67% and after their interventiom, it showed 4,37%. I asked them not to charge my vehicle at all, but they ignored me. I would like to proof that the drop in range happened while in their hands. Thank you
I have a question on the "frugal" side of things. This app looks great and I plan to get it when I get my Tesla (est. delivery in December). My concern is the price has gone up considerably (up to $50 at the moment). Should I buy now in case the price goes up again? Or is it expected to hold or go down?
I can’t speak for the developer so I couldn’t tell you if the price will hold or go up. However, it wouldn’t hurt to buy it since it’s a one time fee as opposed to other apps that charge monthly.
Stats App Can someone help me please? The Stats App is really frustrating me. I'm adamant about allowing my car to be able to sleep uninterrupted for at least 6 hours. I've been able to accomplish perfectly fine with my Model 3. When I'm wanting my car to sleep, I make sure Sentry Mode, Standby Summon, and Cabin Overheat Protection are disabled. I also make sure not to open my Tesla App to check up on it; although I can safely peek at my Tesla App Iphone widget (a simple left->right swipe) to very my car is asleep without actually waking it. But ever since I downloaded the Stats App, I can't keep my car asleep for more than 30-45 minutes. I've tried logging out/deleting the app out and resetting my password (token) to get a baseline again. After that my car slept soundly for more than 12 hours. I logged back into my Tesla App first.. no problems. My car was able to go back to sleep for hours. But as soon as I installed and log into the Stats App, it would remain awake. I'd log out of the Stats App so that it remains at the login prompt, and my car still won't go to back to sleep for a lengthy amount of time. Any suggestions on having the Stats App but and your car able to sleep for several hours uninterrupted? I emailed the developer, but his reply was not helpful.
Most interesting review of the Stats apps 👍. Stats is definitely the app I need. What I'm looking for is an app that can show charging curves when I charge the car - and Stats can do that 😊. I'm not an iOS guy and Stats is unfortunately not available for Android 😞. I see in the comments that others also want - or hope for - Stats on Android. I don't want to change phone system due to a single app so I hope Stats will show up one day on Android.
I have it. It’s a great app. Well worth the $15 you pay. I use it to track my electricity used to charge to pay my partner of the bill. Also the siri short cuts, kilowatts charged... it’s super useful. And Apple Watch support!!!
Hey my name is Jonathan I wanted to know if there is a way where I can use the stats app with Siri to use the summoned feature? I am totally blind and it would be hard for me to find my car so I would like to be able to use the smart summon feature with Siri. @@teslatike8837 it was a complete bolt out of the blue mate. I got a text saying collection on the 20th from Heathrow. I checked for a VIN 2hrs earlier & didn't have one. I checked 30mins after the text & it was there! Ordered P3D+ blue / white with FSD!
Nick Smith no my reservation was mid 2017, think it’s more about matching my spec on the cars that just arrived & I was paying in cash. Got a txt at 18:38 Friday evening & a vin shortly after. It’s all been a blur since then lol!
My reservation was June 2017 and I've ordered basic performance model in black - I originally ordered a LR dual motor with tow hitch but they dropped the price of basic performance model so it was only £660 more than price of car I'd ordered - no brainer really - do I need a tow hitch or do I need a 0-60 of 3.2 seconds?😁 I got an email last week from Tesla saying I should get VIN this week with delivery end June or early July - I bet yours is onboard the ship "Grand Mark" due to dock in Zeebrugge on Tuesday night (you can watch its progress on "Vessel Finder" once it gets in range of French coast). Same question I have, seeing that there are more Android users in the world than Apple. I am sure this is a great video if you live the the Apple ecosphere, but since I do not, this is of little use to me. Sorry.
I went looking for a the stats app on the Apple Store. I did find Stats App Tesla but the developer name was not Ramine. Did he sell the App to another Developer? The App sells for $44 and considering that cheaper than many others. Thanks, Kevin
It’s under Stats: for model S/X/3/Y The green icon is the same as the one in my video. The developer name is MaaDoTaa which is Ramine. The reason it’s so expensive is because comparable apps have a monthly fee which can add up over time. The one time fee may seem steep at first but saves in the end.
@@FrugalTeslaGuy I was also looking at another app that was a monthly charge a more expensive. The Stat App is fine not over priced. That’s for responding so quickly.
That may seem expensive but keep in mind, any other app with this kind of information and functionality typically has a monthly fee. It may be a big hit at first but saves in the end.
