That Old Man Logan with the Grizzly Bear base is INSANE! Absolutely amazing collection and brilliant display. Makes my collection look like child’s play and I have a mentionable one! Thanks for the tour!
That was a awesome review that guy spent a truck load of money on those statues. During the pandemic I came across some of your videos I didn't know this sort of thing even existed it blew me away. Afterwards I started looking into the cost and was knocked over by how much they were. Then a little later I discovered 3d printing and have never looked back. I would like to give you a warm hug and a thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm for this art form. Again thank you very much. Happy creating.............
I always think I have a great collection going then I see rooms like this. Very impressive, let alone how much the display cases themselves cost! Thanks for the video!
I hope he has great Insurance! I would be on pins & needles on a Daily basis. Lovely collection but I too think it's a little crowded but that's just me.. Wonderful vid, good luck with it all. The Hulk piece is also my favorite.
This is an absolutely sick collection. Silence worthy. That being said, guy needs to dust his statues. I have a modest room and I fuss a bit. If I had that room...😳
Lol, did you ask him how much his entire collection costs? I’m guessing close to 100k!! So, so jealous! If I was there I’s be drooling all over his floor 🤣
Walter Lam definitely over that, fan art pieces are around 1k-2k each after painting by decent artist, obviously he has more than 100 pieces, so 100k would be the minimum cost of his collection.
I always assumed some middle-aged businessman living in Dubai would own the largest statue collection...and antique car collection...and pinball machines...and...
I wish I had such a good collection but I would have to be a millionnaire. The best companies that makes these are in the states so cost too much in my country to buy it ;(.
Hi, may I know what the depth of these shelves? I also want to start collecting 1/4 to 1/2 display but I don't know which dimension should I custom for the displays to be safe. Am afraid later in the years, one good new display won't be fitted inside the custom cabinet. Or should I just construct the open shelves so odd sizes display have no prob at all?
Yes I agree Freddie Rodriguez, it is a little bit overcrowded and can make your collection look like a Toy shop and can spoil the look of your collection, better to keep it minimal, I see Hot Toys collectors do the same and it does not look good.
you get to see some awesome statue collections. I think once you start elaborating more on the pieces versus just "who made it", it will ehance your reviews to a whole nother level. Like who desgined the piece or who art is it based on or who sculpted it etc. Anyhow totally gonna sub ya though! Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback. Often with companies like Sideshow there can be be multiple people involved in the design of a piece and then anywhere from 1-5 sculptors as well. It makes it very difficult to remember so many names for each statue! If you are curious about those details though you can look up the product on the manufacturers website and it should have most of that information. If I do have more information about a particular piece I will try to communicate that in the video in future. Thank you for the sub!
im the co-designer of a few sideshow collectibles and have a few never released ones that i designed and modeled. theyre only available through me if youre interested in grabbing a few let me know.
Sorry for the late reply. You should check out Sideshow Collectibles, Prime 1 Studio, and XM Studios if you want to start collecting statues. There are also some great statue collecting groups on facebook.
