With the mushroom set, mushroom crown, spiralhorn shield and this talisman they might need to buff that dragonkin soldier in the middle of the lake. I had so much trouble with that fight until I learned about immunity.

I mean, the numbers speak for themselves. If you were running decent armor before it literally doubles how long it takes for you to get poisoned for example.

The other good method is getting Flame, Cleanse Me, along with the two fingers talisman to give you enough faith to cast it (both easily available in Liurnia)

@@buckyhurdle4776 There's long been different strengths of poisons yeah. There's even an item in Sekiro that poisons you with a weak poison so that you are blocked from contracting a stronger one

It can't because it can be used offensively. 30 seconds is enough. Madness is the only one that affects your damage output so much based on the bar of madness.

I also realized one last question I had as well being the question of if this Talisman actually Stacks with its own buff so if for example, someone were to hit you with poison and then you got the initial 350 boost and then someone hit you either with poison again or rot 700 bonus immunity or no? This one is heavily based on the prior questions as well I guess as if it is a time to duration that runs out after a certain amount of time but it's technically not as terribly strong since it's not like the anyone's going to be able to hit you with another poison proc in that time for you to get the massive buff and I guess to some degree becomes less powerful and at the same time if all prior Buffs you had gained disappear and get replaced with whatever the newest buff is, that also means even if you did get that ridiculously high immunity, someone planning their bills around having multiple different status effects could easily copy with bleed and then switch back to poison and then switch back to bleed and so on and so forth

yes sepuku does activate that talisman and you get 350 robustness for 45 sec

Bruh I love how people just know that ash of war is broken, last night during a duel the other guy started spamming that right off the bat, I was about to just let him win so I stood there not doing anything and he immediately realized he was a shit player so he swapped it out, I beat him about 10 seconds after that with what little HP I had left, smh some people just can't win if they're not spamming some broken ash of war

Go into the the lake of rot, roll around to get some of that filth on you. Exit the lake. Wait for the rot to proc and then bam- you’ve got weak rot and will be immune to the nastier DoT you’d get just standing in the lake. You can counteract it with blessings boon or the regen flask and the regen golden dew talisman. This is an invader’s item, the lake of rot can be obviated without it.

The Dragon Breath still does normal damage. It just (probably) won't proc the Scarlet Rot.

Madness can be used offensively that's why. With higher resistance it, madness could be spammed even longer.

Honestly this talisman is such effective counterplay that I think the best bleed build currently might be a dex build with the arc and fth to cast Bloodflame blade. Solely for the fact that if you see an opponent using this, and it should be relatively obvious, you still have decent damage even without bleed and can switch to drawstring resins or electrify armament
