Status Quo - Little Lady & Most Of The Time 2013 

RIP Rick and Alan: They and this band are the reason I grew my hair, bought a Tele, learned to play guitar, joined a band, made lots of lovely noise, love rock music, still do so after after 40+ years, etc, etc....... Easily the best live band I've seen. Much better songwriters and musicians than they've ever been given credit for. Despite being predominantly a guitar player, I've also played bass in bands plenty of times, and when doing so have always concentrated on producing a thumping Lancaster approach. The only way.... No nonsense rock n roll.

Nice to see Rossi actually trying for once, this is the real Quo.

ALAN CHARLES LANCASTER otherwise known as NUFF, has passed away in Sydney, his home for 45 years. The founding member and the backbone of STATUS QUO had been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis for many years. Alan battled on bravely, performing at QUO's Reunion gigs in 2013 and 2014. Even though he had MS, Alan's performance and his vocals were the strongest of the three. My favourite member of QUO is Alan Lancaster. I had the pleasure of having a beer and a smoke with Alan at a Sydney pub gig, in Five Dock, when he had The Lancaster Bombers and The Lancaster/Brewster Bands in the late 80's. We had a longer chat at The Lewisham Hotel as well. These were dirty, grungy hotels, though this didn't phase the great man of the people. Alan was the most beautifil man, very humble, down to earth and a great guy to talk with and have a laugh. Vale Alan ( Nuff ) Lancaster RIP mate, you were one of the greatest Rockers of all time.

From an American perspective, some of the best riffs ever. This is what rock is meant to be. Wish I'd gotten to see them live. This will have to suffice...

I've seen Quo loads of times in the 70's, but I envy everyone who saw this tour.

quo at their finest....not just most of the time...all of the time.....still blows me away ten years later to listen to this.....how fcking good were a bunch of old men.....man they tame any group around....

My teenage years were all about the music then in the early/ mid 70’s, remember waiting for new quo albums to be released. Miss those great days.

Saw them at Glasgow Apollo, 3 nights in a row in 1977. Totally and completely owned the place, the last night was fuckin mental.

Nothing beat the anticipation of standing in the line up at the Glasgow Apollo waiting to see these absolute geniuses do their stuff. The Old Quo were the only Quo

A few extra pounds, a few less hair but still so much energy. The "real and original" Quo rocked my childhood (thanks Dad!), wagged my teenage years and now that I'm a "little" older (with few extra pounds too) still makes my feet stamp and my head shakes. Respect for this legendary band !

Pretty cool to see 4 guys in their 60s (I guess) rocking so hard. Unfortunately, I'd never heard of the band, or the songs, and I don't even recognize any of their names (and I listen a lot to the "Deep Tracks" satellite channel and often learn of bands I'd never heard of before). Maybe they're one of those British bands who never hit it big in the USA (where I am). In any event, so awesome to see them still enjoying playing, and more so that so many people came to see them once again. EDIT: Wikipedia says that "They have had over 60 chart hits in the UK, more than any other rock band" and yet a fairly knowledgeable (and older) American like me didn't know of this band. I must check them out some more.

In what way? They're all proficient on their instruments. Don't like the song necessarily but the writing and playing they're good
