PS This song was written by John Fogerty from CCR fame. But Status Quo changed it enough to bring it up to a whole new and better Number one hit level. Great song.
No they weren't, the solo was different and the keyboards at the end. Why would they go to all the trouble of getting the speakers in if they were just going to mime?
But Marshall brought those speakers in especially, and even put his name on them. That way, when the show was over, they would know who they belonged to!
What on earth is Status Quo doing onstage with Barryman, they are Rock musicians, not targets for pathetic jokes,Just let them rock everybody’s socks off.
They always got paid even Irish bought loads of albums Rossi slatted us on tv years ago anti Irish n anti catholic shud av been the north the Brit cunt rest of band luvly guys but he a cunt hope never see him again
I loved watching this, up until the miming of the song started that is. Not your fault obvs, but with all those huge Marshalls I thought they'd be playing live. Thank you for uploading though, great to see the Quo boys looking good, and Michael in his brilliant pomp.
Rick Parfitt died more or less at the same time as Michael Jackson which meant he missed out on all the fuss that should have been paid to him as an utter rock god
You SERIOUSLY believe that Parfitt impacted the music industry as much as Michael Jackson?!? That’s absolutely ludicrous. I fucking HATE Jackson but you’d have to be a nimrod to put the two on the same level. Even Parfitt would agree, were he still around to debate it.
There is nothing worse than someone trying to be funny and failing miserably. What the …..is he rambling on about. It’s times like this that you keep saying to yourself, for……..sake just play will you.
Odd that the only one NOT enjoying themselves is YOU. I think YOU are the problem, NOT anybody in this video. Maybe you should consider picking up a SENSE OF FUCKING HUMOR while you’re out and about at the market.
Surely Barrimore could have had the decency to learn some cords instead of looking a complete numpty on the guitar. Two or three cords are the basis of more popular songs than most people really know or actually enjoy. Simples.
At one stage Barrymore was compulsive Saturday night viewing. Or any night. He was very entertaining and had such a variety of stars and he also discovered new talent on his shows. He is very sadly missed on TV. Maybe he could (one day) make a comeback. Why not? He had presenting talent to entertain. Especially his highly entertaining My Kind of Music. Michael Barrymore TV needs you.
You really shouldn't have put an exclamation mark at the end of your comment, as it wasn't funny at all. Michael was absolutely top drawer, extremely popular and had the audience in the palm of his hand at the Royal Variety Show on several occassions. You and the three clapping seals who liked your comment are in a tiny minority.
@@bobupen6476 - That’s your opinion. I think most people would agree with me in my opinion that he’s an annoying little creep. And the fact that that you didn’t like my joke doesn’t bother me in the slightest. You obviously find someone highly amusing who does the same 'Alwight, alwight' joke funny. So I’m guessing you’re not the height of comedy judgement anyway. Here, have another one! ALWIGHT!
I must be thinking about somebody else really famous who died more or less the same time as Rick I wonder who it was and no of course I dont think Parfitt was anywhere as big a name as Jackson
