I'm nearly 60 years old now and I've seen a lot of "big bands" .... look at this: These guys will show the whole world what it means to play in a Band! 4 guys playing TOGETHER, I imagine when Quo jumped on stage building a triangle in front of John's drums, stickin their heads together and rock like hell!!!!! There was no other band, that was as close as Quo and I think there will be no other!! Is anybody out there who wants to ROCK??????
I had the privilege of meeting the frantic for a meet and greet at the Apollo Manchester on the first tour 2013 and have a photo taken with them and everything. I got my piledriver vinyl signed by the band and Bob Young. That gig was memorable really memorable, I am and will be eternally grateful for the chance to meet the band that I’ve been a fan of since I was 12 (1977) QUOTILIDIEWHATEVERTHELINEUP. RIP RICK AND ALAN FOREVER MISSED.
I was so so lucky to see them on the second FF reunion tour 2014 Glasgow academy I shall never ever forget it one of the best nights of my life I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing
Despite the years that passed, when you put these four together a certain magic happens. You would think they had never been apart such is the tightness of the music. Great to watch and my years certainly rolled back!
Amazing how removing the others and replacing with the real quo engine room made them look quite cool again, sounding pretty good as well, Except for Rossi's abysmal solos on JW, what was he playing??
