Combining footage with the october 76 recording resulted in almost 15 minutes boogierock in the Apollo Glasgow. Not perfect cos it was a monstrous project. But there are some good bits ;-).
the spotlights add to the psychedelic atmosphere, we could believe that we are witnessing a show from another time, from another planet, this makes things more improbable, it's as if we were an integral part of the public and group ,
I was so made up to see this video. - Best live album ever. Saw Quo live 9 times between 1975 and 1982. That line up are still the best live band I’ve seen. The energy and sheer volume at their concerts was unbelievable. Sound track to me formative yrs. Just brilliant. Thanks for posting this.

je ne pensais pas que la music pouvait avoir cet effet , exorciser la peine et la souffrance , je ressens de la plénitude à comprendre le sens des choses à travers ce son , cette performance live est telle un orage de pluie battante qui fait un bien fou ,

Refused , stayed standing Rossi pointed at me after a few songs and said something like, he’s the only bloke standing up what’s the matter with the rest of you? Everyone s on their feet by the end. That balcony didn’t bounce tho!

Qué rolón! ....que rolón!.....blues de la cabaña del disco doble en vivo, disco cotizadisimo entre los fans, era una bendición para el que lo tenía y lo ponía en las tardeadas o lo prestaba, es oro molido! Escuchar esta rola es un deleite, pero ademas tuve el gusto de verlos en los dos conciertos que dieron en cd Neza México. Puedo morir feliz haberlos visto tocar.

it's simply sensational, feelings of exaltation, it's so well orchestrated, that one has the impression that it's an improvisation, these musicians can really claim the title of artists, and the voice of the performer is practically magnetic and resonates and vibrates with electrified instruments and harmonica

Cuando tenía como 17 años, hubo una fiesta en la cuadra. Estaba lloviendo muy ligero y el sonido puso esta versión. Imagínate unas 200 personas bailando. Tengo ya 52 años y no lo olvido. Fue simplemente mágico.

Si recuerdo está súper rola cuando nos juntabamos varios chavos en los 90s buscando las tocadas callejeras los días sábados para bailar y si claro nos echabamos nuestras chelitas, no me arrepiento son recuerdos de juventud bien chidos, también recuerdo a la amiga EVA LA CORONELA "en paz descanse" porque la bailaba bien chingón, se pasó de diversión. Parece que fue ayer ya tengo 53, la vida es corta por eso hay que disfrutar que estamos vivos, saludos a la generación ochentera y noventera, fueron las mejores.
I was very lucky to see them when they recorded the live album at the Glasgow Apollo in 76, the very best concert I have ever been to, the place was bouncing and that includes the balcony, unbelievable noise and atmosphere, fantastic live band have seen them 9 times and never disappointed.
Steven I was there with my brothers. Remember the balcony as well, it was really, really bouncing. Met Rick and Francis a few years later. Rick said they could see everyone looking up as they were and it was scary, but he told me a story of another gig. Think it was Cardiff, but not sure. He said they were on stage and got word from the side that there had been a bomb alert. They carried on playing while the staff went around the seats with flashlights checking under the seats. Health & Safety, none in those days!!

Best "live album",I've ever listened to and it was one of my first vinyls,I owned...but I had "Piledriver"...."Hello"...."Quo". ..."Blue for you"....and each album truely rocked....this "live" was just "the icing on the cake"..and blew my mind....

we think we are watching a performance given by high school kids, they are having so much fun playing their instruments, the drummer is the cannoneer of the group, the harmonica is the conductor, the guitarists are the troubadours, the singer is the minnesinger ............

Listening to the whole album right now. I have heard it probably a hundred times by now and it´s still one of my favorite live albums of all time. It´s up there with the all big ones, no doubt.

¿Quien lo hubiera imaginado de esta agrupación de tocar en Glasgow Escocia Hiba a pisar el escenario de Nezahualcóyotl México en dónde fueron bien recibidos con todos sus temas.
Que Bendición que este gran grupo Rockanrolero se presentó en México en Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl. Soy de León Guanajuato y como me hubiera gustado estar en ese concierto de Status Quo

One of the greatest live albums of the period when the Glasgow. Apollo was a favourite venue for many.... Quo live, AC DC live, Roxy Music. Up there with UFO Chicago, Scorpions Tokyo, Bowie Philladelphia and the list goes on... we were blessed!
When the Circle was rockin at a Quo gig it must have moved at least a foot. Given delapidated state of the Apollo should have carried a Health & Safety warning. Loved it!!!
