All of you saw a Rossi Coverband. The real Quo was the line up with Parfitt,Coghlan,Lancaster & Rossi. They were called the "Frantic Four" and played together the best Boogie Rock in History ❤
I totally agree. I'm fast approaching 64 and loved Quo until John and then Alan left. Sort of followed until Rick died. Although I think Rhino and various drummers have done well. Somehow I think they never regained that power. This obviously only a personal opinion and many fans of the later Quo will love it, but I remember the early albums. Ma Kelly, dog of two heads, piledriver, Hello, Quo live. For me the real Quo. Sorry, I no I'm an old git.
Why did Rossi get into the awful habit of missing words out of the song? "I drank a toast you were the most the night b..." amongst others? Was it about the time he started over-bending the strings on his guitar and ruining every good lead-break he ever composed? Quo is my favourite band by a mile, but it's time to wrap it up.

@@krisslloyd2280 No need to shout! We hear you. If Rick had lead the Quo instead of Francis then the band would not excist anymore. Rick didn't write much good songs anymore in het last 2 decades Alan wrote some fine stuff for the band back in the day and his vocals suited a few of that songs very well. But he also wrote a lot of crap songs. Fans always blame Francis for that. Anyway, Alan is an ill old man now. He can not stand up an hold a bass anymore, ket alone play it in the way that is necessary in Quo. Sad but true. The band would not excist anymore without Francis.
Well in my opinion the reason why rossi does what he does is to make the song rock more because the original way to play it was flat and had no proper rockness to so rossi just expresses playing the tune alot more rockyea if you get my drift lol
I love this song but Francis has a way of wrecking Quo's toughest tracks...not singing properly, not playing the correct solos and he looks bored occasionally, the other guys are giving it thier all, but they are hindered by Francis the selfish twat....lost a lot of respect for him....especially after the way he's acted and dealt with Ricks death....I'm afraid that after idolizing Quo since i was 8, and now 40, I am closing the book on them. Quo died with Ricks passing. This is really 2nd rate, it's not Status Quo. R.i.p Rick you are sorely missed 🤘
