I see now- basically Gabriel thought Adrien was dating Lila but didn’t want him to because of her bad lying habit. Adrien thought he was talking about Marinette which is why he got upset. Lila overheard the convo and thought she’d have a chance to date Adrien but then Mari was coming to see Adrien but Lila tried to stop her. Gabriel then realized it and stepped in and defended Marinette. I’m so smart UwU anyway keep up the good work!! ❤️❤️

I think Adrien's father probably had mistaken his girlfriend (Marinette) for Lila.

Most likely Gabriel learned of his decision and see that Marinette cares or that his son cares for her.

i was waiting for adrien to come out of the room like "dad...what. you literally made me break up with her" and then gabriel says "yea but i realized how good of a person she is and how good of an influence she is on you" and then marrinette and adrian hug and adrian just says "thank you father!" and then gabriel says "call me dad from here on out" and lila is mad bc no one loves her but she can stay mad :)

You should have add a scene where Gabriel and Natalie talk where Gabriel keep saying ''i only want the best for him, plus there's that diamond dance going on and i can't break the agreement'' and Natalie replied''Is this what Emily wanted !?''
