Thanks for this. We usually stay in Escazu as there is a good dog park there but this is much more quiet. Not really a fan of cities but SJ is not too bad. Thanks again
It has the West End of Vancouver or uptown York area of Toronto city look and feel. I’m a quite beach person now, but it looks very modern and trendy. Lots of construction, which is a good sign for the people of CR, this country is growing and many people have recognized that this country, and its people, can’t be beat for living in.
Check out parque la Paz although the lakes in the park are dry right now; after a few rainfalls the will fill up again; it's a park dedicated to the abolishment of the army and they have a spot by the lake where they stuck their rifles in concrete pura vida
I’ve lived on the central pacific coast for 24 years but I LOVE to visit SJ. I used to go a lot more frequently before Covid and got out of the routine. Watching your videos is making me plan a trip again soon. And yes the Sabana area is very good. I also recommend Barrio Amon, but my favorite hotel there Don Carlos closed during Covid😢
try St. Honore bakery which is nearby. Better than Marcopan bakery. Can take your doggie too. I really don't like the apartments in that area. most of them have small beds,
