That is a terrific looking hotel. It screams wedding venue. Nagnificent views. That young lady was o kind to tiur you around the entire grounds. Srsly, this hotel is very appealing for its beauty balanced furnishings, spotlessness. This town is very appealing too with its gorgeous granite houses, tidyness, old world charms. It was nice to see signs of inhabitation via laundry hanging, etc, but i wonder where the people are? I guess everyone is inside keeping cozy. And i always wonder where the convenience store, bakery, post office, atm are 😊.
It would be a absolutely stunning wedding venue indeed! She did tell me that people do get married there and there even is a chapel you could use for the ceremony. I have been to this village a few times and I never see many people to be honest.. Could be indeed that they are inside spending time with their families and during the week mostly working. And good one, in the next village walk I will try to look for and mention things like shops, bakery etc. Although this particular village doesnt really have much besides a chapel and community centre I think. It would be good to know more about the amenities each village offers and how far they are from larger cities. Also, what about you? Maybe I missed an intro video? Hello, thankyou! Yes, I will definitely add info about amenities and location/nearby cities etc. in my future video's, thank you for pointing that out :) I have an introduction video up on my channel but I am not sure if it covers everything. So to answer your questions: I was born and raised in the Netherlands to an Irish dad and Angolan/Portuguese mom. That left me being raised with Dutch and English language and a little Portuguese. Last summer I spend some time at the University of Coimbra to brush up on my Portuguese and it has gotten a lot better, but there is still a lot to learn! Since I wanted to be more surrounded by nature and also explore my Portuguese roots I ended up here. 😁😁 Hope that gives you a little bit more of an insight ;)

Also, although I enjoy the property part of your videos I would like to see more videos like this showing/passing through Portuguese villages like this. Although I have briefly lived in Lisbon, Alentejo & parts of Algarve I have never been to Central Portugal (been to see football matches at Porto, Guimaraes). So more of this please. Muito obrigado

Thanks so much for the tour. It's a very pretty village. I have to say though, most of the villages that I've been seeing via 'tubers' appear to be like 'ghost towns'. I rarely see folks going about the business of living, no one else out of doors...? Any thoughts?
thank you for watching! People usually work a lot and often in the big cities. So they get out early and come back late. You will find the local café suddenly full of locals at certain hours. Or if you would check a local restaurant during lunch time, they all of a sudden appear :)

Hello Rakesh, good job applying for a visa! Since I am a European citizen I don't know what the Visa application is like specifically for you. I guess I would just look up resorts and send out your application or drop by the locations when you are Portugal, usually works best. Good luck!
