Koh Larn island is a super popular place to visit for a day, either from Pattaya or Bangkok! But what would it be like to stay for one night, and enjoy some peace and tranquility after the crowds have gone home?
Here's a hotel a few minutes walk from the busy Taewan Beach, that has it's own beach, and stunning views of the sea from it's rooms.

Many thanks. If you haven't been, or haven't been recently, it's well worth the 30 baht ferry journey in my opinion. And the sea is just so beautiful there, even for a day trip!

Another brilliant hotel and Koh Larn area review BC.I like the views and layout of the hotel....it is expensive yet this is high season and you cannot get a view like this in the CIty . Quiet and relaxing and an amazing view of the ocean and all around.. Thank you and Happy New Year everyone!

Hey, Ric, thanks for the comment. Yes, I think you are right it felt a bit expensive, but on the other hand how do you put a price on a view like that? Staff were great, too. Came to pick me up in a golf cart from taewaen in the evening, so there no need to to ride a bike to the bars and back!

I'm sure you'll have a great trip! If you are interested in this particular hotel, then I'd contact them on Facebook as it seems less expensive than the prices I've seen on agoda or other agents. Enjoy!

Well, I've been with some dogs in my time! But they were too cute for me! Although neither of them took any notice of me, so maybe they were mine! I'd say guest friendly, for sure. Very relaxed at reception!

I have done it a couple of times to relax. It is a completely different place before the first ferry and after the last.

Thanks! I couldn't agree more! Such a great feeling after the last ferry goes back. Becomes much more of a typical Thai place, and all the better for it in my book!

Quite a nice hotel option. The view would be nice to wake up to. Not sure about the pricing. Seems a tad expensive for what it is, but maybe for just one night it is reasonable. Those trousers were interesting.

I chose the trousers because I know the sea on Koh Larn is a beautiful turquoise colour!. Definitely things are that bit more expensive on the island and that includes hotel rates. I've found them to be fully booked when I've tried to book before. So I guess they can justify the price around this time!

Cheers, PFi. Location was fantastic. So much better than Tawaen beach, despite being just a few minutes away! Unfortunately, no hot water throughout my stay. Wasn't a big problem tbh, but for the price I would have expected a hot shower!

The hotel seems nice. I have to say Koh Larn is not my favorite island. Too close to Pattaya...

Thanks for the comment! I was pleased around 6pm when all the tour groups left! You are right, there's better islands, but if you are looking for close proximity to Bangkok, the choice is fairly limited!
