I arranged this version of Stay by Rihanna in Open D tuning, I thought it sounded full and more relaxed, better suiting the scenery. I filmed this live on a local beach on Lake Erie in Ohio.

About Chase Eagleson:
Chase Eagleson is best known for his work on his RU-vid channel covering popular songs in an acoustic style and performing original music. Many of these videos also feature his sister and fellow musician, Sierra Eagleson. Chase took formal guitar and drum lessons in his early teens for a couple years, but eventually continued self-teaching new instruments, singing and music production. Missing one of these and suddenly finding it in my feed is such a gift. I cannot click fast enough. And my old friend Lake Erie is a bonus. I'm from Michigan and I've lived extensively in my beloved Ohio many times over the years from Kent State/Stowe, Cleveland, Berea, and many other little suburbs. I always fancy moving back someday but a bit more rural.

This song always makes my heart ache and I'd feel emotionally drained from the pain I feel for certain memories. But listening to this cover definitely gives it an entirely different meaning to me now. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Thank you Chase covering a song that would normally render me into a sobbing mess to still be a sobbing mess... but for all the right and happy reasons.

Well to be honest, video editing gives you a lot more options and capabilities to make it look and sound the way you want . All without the naive audience suspecting a thing. Im not saying this video is done that way, just that A LOT of things can be manipulated in editing.

Thank you for showing up last night. There was a football game going on and than the bars are full of drinking alcoholics full of high tension to watch the game. And after that they walk the whole night around my house making noises, while I live at a distance of the bars and I'm not on their way to go home. So I needed something soothing to stay calm. People steal your nights and rest. And it all starts with poisoning alcohol that makes them devils.
