So I believe AG spawned out there because of two things. First being the game tries to spawn players close to the next hill when it can. I think it's within like 15 seconds of the next hill popping. The first guy doesn't spawn there initially because Envoy is looking at the back spawn, but then when his attention is pulled away from holding the back to looking at silos, now the spawn is open. It also is because of what you said, because we just died on old, so it thinks it's not safe anymore. So it's a combo of the new hill being there, nobody blocking in that moment, and an unsafe spawn on old. Makes sense to me and doesn't seem that lucky.

Nope the game doesn't spawn players close to the next hill, on P3 it was coincidence cause all other spawn location were not available, same as P4 if you look where Ultra n2 and n4 were when Pred spawned.

These videos are amazing. There is a huge opportunity for more educational content in cod. I play alot of other competitive games such as valorant and rocket league and they have huge communities of educational videos and coaching. COD just doesn’t really have that and so many casual players dont understand how ranked and competitive works. You’re doing us all a service keep it up 🫡

I've been thinking about this a lot recently. It is true that COD has a lack of educational videos, especially when compared to other games like LoL, CS:GO, and VALORANT. There's still a few educational stuff out there, but they're outnumbered by montages, challenge videos, and other stuff. It's weird because people clearly want to get better at the game for a variety of reasons which all boil down to satisfying our egos in some way. This isn't a bad thing, though, don't get me wrong (I realize that "ego" tends to be associated with negative connotations). In fact, this is actually great, because seeing yourself getting better at something is its own reward (again, the satisfaction of our egos). However, no one seems to be too bothered to seek out videos like this that teach them how to get better at the game. I think this happens for two reasons. The first being that not a lot of people feel inclined to make these kinds of videos for whatever reason (e.g they're not as fun to make as other kinds of videos; they don't get as much interaction as other types of videos, just like this video where I'm making this comment; good players can't explain what makes them good). A follow-up from the first reason is that even when these videos do get made, they're not packaged well enough to get the attention of the people that need to see them. The second reason is that the devs keep adding game-breaking mechanics that help worse players to do better without much effort. For instance, things like skill-based match making, broken weapons, perks, and streaks all fall into this category. There's just no incentive for these people to get better if they can get the same results by using the unfair advantages that the game gives them. Sure, it's not everyone that thinks like this, but fundamentally speaking, we would like to exert the least amount of effort to get the best results. Why would I watch a video about learning how to read my mini map when I can just have a UAV up? In fact, what's the use of comms or teamwork when I can get all the information I need from the aforementioned UAV? Why do I need to learn how to win gunfights when I can just blow you up with a C4 charge, burn you with a thermite, or get cheap kills with a trip mine? Therefore, the only people that end up improving are those that realize that they're being lulled into a false sense of accomplishment and actively choose to challenge themselves to get better. SBMM is particularly insidious in this regard because it keeps you playing against people that are generally around your skill level. This means that unless you actively try to seek out better players to play against, you could theoretically keep playing the same people over and over again without improving, all the whole continually spamming broken stuff that makes you think that you're doing well. To top it off, making the game even semi-competitive means removing virtually all the crutches that casual players rely on to play well. And of course, this is bad because no one wants to play a game where they're getting destroyed unless they've got some sort of masochistic reason or other to do so. The game itself is just not designed to foster true competition where people actively try to get better. Its core audience are people that for whatever reason, want results without really working for them. Meanwhile, we've got devs and suits that are very interesting in enabling this environment.
