We found a VERY nice resort hotel near Disney World - Meliá Orlando Celebration. It's a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel located in the town of Celebration originally developed by The Walt Disney Company, one of Forbes Magazine’s Top Ten “Prettiest Neighborhoods”, only 6 miles from Walt Disney World® and 12 miles from Universal Orlando™ and close to countless other Orlando attractions. Meliã Orlando also features an on-site restaurant & bar called "The Wilson" and is a dog-friendly hotel with a dog park. The two weekends we were there they had exceptional entrainment some of which included Michael Jackson impersonator, Scooby Doo, and a very talented violinist. We give this hotel 5 stars.
