So today is our 13th day in Florida, you know what they say about the number 13! Following the previous days news that the parks would be closed for 2 full days as Hurricane Ian made landfall and moved across the state of Florida. The eye of Ian was due to pass right through Orlando as a category 3 Hurricane in the early hours of the 29th September.
If you've ever been worried about heading the Florida during Hurricane season, which believe it or not starts in May and ends in November, then watch this vlog.
The communication wasn't great, but the cast members from the ride through crew were amazing! We spent two days in our resort knowing we were safe and Disney had us covered. Food, entertainment...we had everything we needed.
