This is what it was actually like! 【Capsule Hotel 🇯🇵 カプセルホテル編】 * A child couldn't climb to the upper capsule * 上のカプセルに登れない子供がいる * Then, he had his bed changed to the lower one * その後、下のベッドに変えてもらってた * The capsules look like a spaceship * カプセルは宇宙船みたい * All facilities such as shower room and toilet were super clean * シャワールームやトイレ等の設備はぜんぶ超清潔 * I felt very awkward as the young female staff was cleaning the men's toilet * 若い女性のスタッフが男子トイレを掃除していて気まずい * Even the locker room for changing clothes has security cameras * 着替えをするロッカールームにも防犯カメラがついてる * Someone's snoring with an irregular rhythm bothered me * 不規則なリズムのおじさんのいびきが聞こえてきて気になる * Who hung an underwxxr on the ladder next to my capsule?
I love how common the touch activated doors are in Japan, they're just so futuristic looking! Plus it's much better at preventing the spread of germs than a handle. I wish we had those in the US.
@@gdog9423 You just need to use your fingertips for the touch activated door. As opposed to a handle which you grab with your whole hand, and for a few seconds more.
In Indonesia there are capsule hotels that are more sophisticated than Japan and maybe more expensive than Japan because there are TVs and LEDs that can be changed in color, But I think Japan is cleaner than Indonesia
Now THIS is a real cyberpunk capsule/hitsugi hotel! A lot of people use the word "capsule" very loosely, and show touristy mini-rooms. Thanks for getting it right!
I also stayed at the 9H located in the basement of Tokyo Airport. It was an amazing experience although the staff didn’t wake me up in the morning for my flight even after requesting them to wake me up in the morning lol
The little Storm Trooper is adorable, also saw that you brought him on the sleeper train with the cheapest seats. He must enjoy traveling like you do! Haha! 😊
🇧🇷 *Thanks for leaving subtitles in Portuguese (Brazil) for such a great video! *
Eu comecei ver o conteúdo dele hoje e gostei pra caramba.
The quality of the videos and the way they are presented are simply superb, you feel just like a part of the group. Thanks for the great work and sharing your experiences. It is helpful.
When I was I’m primary school in the 1960’s, we studied Japanese culture. My favorite discussion were the pod hotels. We learned city workers would travel into larger town to work during the weeks, and return to their villages on Friday evening. Like other people posting, I could believe people were able to climb three or four levels up and not fall out! Thank you!
Hello, creator of Travel Alone Idea! Hope all is well. Since I started viewing your channel I've become more intrigued to see the other content that you've already created. I can honestly say that you didn't disappoint. These Capsule Hotels look like they'd be such a fun experience for me. Although I'm only 5' 3"/160.02 cm tall and love to climb, I find it most ironic that I'm not a fan of coming back down. Ha ha ha! 😅 And the price is more than reasonable much to my surprise. I've spent double the price on dinner alone for just myself. Everything shown in this video appeared just superb and pristine. Thank you so much for taking your viewers along with you while traveling. These mental vacations that I've experienced with you have been so exciting and just lovely. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Always wishing you excellent health, continued success, and genuine happiness. Please take care and have a lovely day.
When first time in Tokio, I spend my days in a Capsule Hotel at Shibuya. Very nice experience!!! I really loved it! It is cheap, easy, cozy and very practical! I totally recommend
I like to see Japanese train and hotel but they are so expensive for a middle class family but is my dream to travel in Japanese train ❤️ lots of love form India ❤️❤️❤️
Not for the claustrophobic but as someone who loves cozy spaces, I think I'd enjoy this. I was told by someone who lived in Japan for a number of years that as long as you're a basically decent, respectful and generally clean person, the people there will tolerate you & usually reciprocate your behavior. Not that there aren't some jerks but that's universal across every culture.
when i go to japan to study abroad, i may stay in a capsule hotel for a night just to experience it. this is something unseen in america... i want to try all of these unique places
@@federico.giovannnini1932 america aint the best (esp my home state of Louisiana.. lol. the food is great tho). i wasnt comparing tho. i jus am curious ab staying in one
Uau, Sou brasileiro e achei incrivel o seu canal. Me diverti bastante assistindo os Videos !
We also stayed at the 9h Narita Airport branch. We stayed there for a night because we had an early hour flight to Sapporo the next day. It's nice to see it being featured here.
I am 15 years old and ive wanted to live in Tokyo for as long as i can remember. I am determined to move there when I’m 18 or over and live there. I just think it looks so beautiful and safe. The look of the buildings at night is something that fascinates me so much and hotels like these are just amazing. I’m scared that i wont make it or i wont be able to learn Japanese etc, i have many worries is basically what I’m saying. Moving to japan is the only thing i want to do in life and if i even get the chance i willl be forever grateful.
@@mejustaverage9927 maybe we could move to japan together and help each other😂, when i was younger i would definitely think about moving to Toronto but i kind of moved onto going to Tokyo.
I once read about this decades ago in an EYEWITNESS book, so fascinating how the Japanese are able to make excellent use of space and function for millions while keeping it spick and span - we need to follow the same method over here!
I would very much love having these near airports to stay in rather than booking a hotel room and costing me so much to rest in in America. Just a quick place to shower, capsule room to sleep and I'm good to go.
I have been to Tokyo more than a dozen times for business, but never even thought of staying at a capsule hotel. Maybe I should try it next time. Hopefully, the Covid situation will be over soon.
I actually haven’t seen the capsule within the Narita airport. Only the one with the bed itself and to wash up. Probably some things were changed from March 11 at that time from almost 11 years.
Very cool videos. I tripped over your channel recently and had no idea that a voiceless video could be so compelling. Thanks for sharing these. I can’t wait to visit Japan again!
