They’re not trying to talk down on people or not be humble, but I don’t associate “poverty” with what someone desires, esp that place. They’re just speaking facts because wouldn’t you say that place is a little freaky, I mean come on, people were murdered there. It doesn’t have much to do with “boujee”. I could have the littlest money and still not want to be in a place where people were murdered. That is some people’s lifestyle and I wouldn’t wish that on them. If there werent any drug dealers and bad things happening there then it would be a different story.

I’m from London and the area I live in I can definitely say is not great lol, but that’s what it is I’m used to it from growing up in poverty, but if I never had to experience that life and had money why would I want to? and if I could afford to stay in nice places I wouldn’t wanna stay their either you don’t have to be broke to know the hood is the hood there’s nothing desirable about it that’s why people wanna get out.

It was a really stupid idea for them to go to a place like that! At least they had the sense to leave when they did.
