What a refreshing video! This is what our Church, the Iglesia ni Cristo, is doing to keep busy these days. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L7hLL9f7ea4.html
I set the mood with cozy music playing in my place starting when I wake up every morning. Music, books and healthy food/drinks calm the soul during this very difficult time. Love helps.
You look really relaxed in this video😎everyone else on social media is going insane being cooped up at home with kids but you’re just🧘🏻♀️🎶🎶totally zen🙏🏻
They'd survive the apocalypse. Giant property where they can social distance and still enjoy the outdoors without exposure to others. Vegetable gardens and chicken coops help them lessen trips to crowded grocery stores where who knows how many people have handled the produce. They also run a small business selling soap- a now scare item. They are freelance workers allowing them to create their own business schedule and not interact with coworkers. Of course they're zen, they're ready for this!
"Everyone else on social media is going insane"? That depends on who are you following. I see a lot of videos and tweets in Rachel's style. People show many examples how to stay calm and what you can do in your free time. You choose who to follow, who to listen to.
Thank you Rachel, I need some positivity right now! My husband and I both lost our jobs from this craziness and we lost the house we were about to close on. God is in control! It’s a hard time.
You are doing a great service for us, Rachel. Your video was 20 minutes of peace and I feel more inspired to just be present at home rather than constantly worry about the future. All we can do is take it one day at a time and treasure it. Thank you!
I love how you're showing ways to be sustainable by using herbs/veggies in your garden and repurposing leftovers into new meals. I'm going to try repurposing food so it doesn't go to waste during a time like this!
Please upload as much as you can - this brought so much peace to my day (UK here first thing in the morning) thank you so much for taking the time to do this xxx
Been following your journey for years now, and I watch every video but don't comment very often. I just love the vibe of this video, so peaceful to watch. I always pictured you as a homeschool mama. I have been homeschooling my 2 girls 4 & 5.5, for a year now and it's been such a blessing and so fun to watch them grow and learn. Also, your garden is perfection. My husband and I are starting our garden and have built raised beds for outside. We have several veggies, herbs and fruit thriving inside right now. Here in MI, it's still a bit cold to take them out. Your garden videos and cooking videos are an inspiration to me and my family. Thank you! ❤
Hey Rachel! I was thinking, I would LOVE a video about your recommendations on tools for gardening, what have you found most useful (multi-functional is always a bonus), tips and tricks. We just moved into our new home in December and have 2 acres. We're really excited to start our gardening, but honestly it's so hard to decide where to begin. Do you start from seed indoors and if you do, any pros and cons? I'm really interested in your experiences. As always, I've loved your content and the evolution of it. We're in a similar spot in our lives right now and you're just so relatable.
Luv ur videos.... They're very different.... Not based only on house clening n speed cleaning.. They r actually inspiring n motivate us to be happy in whatever.... Is going on stay blessed👼🙏❤
Rachel I rly love your videos. You're one of the people that have inspired me to create my own channel here on RU-vid. What gave me the final push is beating cancer and wanting to give people the encouragement I needed ❤️ I also do Diys and aspire to be as knowledgeable as you as well 🌺
I enjoy a lot of your life, especially since it is in a very beautiful countryside countryside, and I live in the countryside, as well, following from Saudi Arabiaاستمتع كثيرا ب فلوقاتك وخاصة انها في منطقة ريفيه جميل جدا الريف وانا أسكن في الريف كذلك متابعه من السعوديه🌵🌿🇸🇦
So happy to see y’all and that you’re safe and well. Your videos are always inspirational and relaxing. Did a work out this morning, wrote letters and cleaned out my closet. It was so therapeutic. Hopefully soon I can work on the garden
Home schooling is definitely the way to go! I was homeschooled from kindergarten up and I feel like it really allowed me to stretch my learning in a way that fit my mind. I’m pregnant with mine and my husband’s first child and plan to homeschool her when the time comes! Socialization is important but not as hard as people think, I met new kids on the playground at parks and learned to have adult conversations with the ladies at church, there are tons of homeschool groups you can join with for activities if that’s something you’re really worried about or just want the extra resource for your family!
I enjoyed this. You are so different than the other typical youtubers out there. That’s a good thing and a major compliment. Keep doing what you’re doing. We see something new almost every time and it’s nice to see something different yet simple.
Would love to see a home school video, with tips, resources, advice etc. I love watching your videos when i need to either relax or get some inspiration. Thank you!
I love your videos, especially right now! You are so calm and loving. Also as a teacher, I enjoy hearing your perspective as a parent during this time :) I have quiet time for my students in class each day after lunch. It's such an important part of the day!
Your channel is always so peaceful! I love all of your videos and we are wanting to start a garden as well. Thank you for sharing the veggie stock and soup recipe, can’t wait to try! So healthy and delicious❤️ Also, my son is 2 and I have thought about homeschool since I was pregnant with him, so I love that you are thinking of that option after this extra family time together! Thank you for always inspiring, I’ve followed your channel for several years now😊
thank you. this was such a calming, relaxing video to watch.. and yesss to homeschooling! we are loving the time together.. for your "me time" you could always enroll them in a program or two but spending the early years together are so connecting..
Love the recipe!! I am currently doing research on how to start a garden, but I have to wait until I graduate college. Gotta give it all the love it needs. Love you and your content. ❤️
Rachel I love your videos ! They are so calming and relaxing and yet so productive! Thank you for giving me structure in such difficult times 🥰 since we are not allowed to go out anymore my boyfriend and I try to work as much in our small garden as possible 🙈 lots of love from Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹🌸🌿
I just love your videos, the make me feel so relaxed and calm. I have always loved cooking but lately I have been trying to experiment with just using what I know about cooking to come up with my own flavors and I have really enjoyed that and have found a lot of peace in it.
First time I'm ever commenting on ur videos Rachel but let me tell u if there's anyone who is most suited to homeschooling it's u guys. Ur kids will benefit much much more from ur property, building, growing, cooking etc
Rachel, I’ve been following you for years. Your videos are always so creative and useful, yet relatable. Plus your voice is so relaxing. Keep doing what you do!! 👌🏼😘
Thanks you so much for creating content in such times. It feels soothing, and almost normal again. xx Hope everyone who reads this are doing okay and feeling hopeful.
Wonderful Rachel. There’s a book called An Everlasting Meal that teaches you how to carry leftovers over to the next day and the next. It’s like a meal chain letter. Lol. I found it very useful. Even if you just carry over one ingredient into the next day or meal. It shows nothing has to go to waste. I’m trying to entertain a 12 year old and a 1 year old. It’s very interesting 😳 finding activities they both like is difficult. Lol
Will definitely get that book. Thanku. Love from Dr. Madiha Arif (Pakistan), Founder & Content Creator of 'Dr. Madiha Arif's Health Diary' on Facebook & RU-vid 😊😊😊
so refreshing to hear a parent actually enjoy homeschooling their kids. It's just refreshing to see that there is a family enjoying themselves. There's a lot of "funny memes" about parents hating homeschooling and I personally think it's just sad. lol anyway..thanks Rachel! always a pleasure to watch your videos.
I agree but I also think it depends on the day job of parents. I have a 1 year old at home and as much as I LOVE having him home all day, it is exhausting to work so we need to do it during nap time and late at night which means no rest for my husband and I and cluttered appartment... but it's fun to be all together at home
Homeschooling part is not the issue here. Both me and my husband work and it is extremely difficult to have the kiddo all day at home. Just because you see some funny memes about a situation, doesn't make it unreal or fake. Hope you are having fun if you have kids home.
Hi Rachel, I'm so thrilled to have found your channel, I live in Capet town south Africa, and amazing part of the world ( we have our challenges), but I would rather see the beauty ! your content is exactly what I think I needed to hear! I',m a mum of a gorgeous 5yr old, and life in lockdown has been so interesting, we are now close to 300days. and I also just started reading again, and I was give EDUCATED to read! hope you got to star that book. we have so much to learn from each other, thank you for sharing your world. Much love, Ashnee
This video makes me envious. I would love nothing more than to quarantine myself at home for the foreseeable future. But, I work in a skilled nursing facility, so I am off to work every day to do my best to take care of our patients who are so vulnerable-- in a facility where we are literally running out of proper cleaning supplies. I appreciate a video bringing a little bit of calmness to my anxious days. Thinking of the folks who are losing their jobs and livelihood right now. Hope you all can find some peace as we weather this storm!
I’ve been binge watching your videos all day yesterday to calm my heart and soul and show myself how far one can go with consistent hard work. Thank you Rachel, stay safe ❤️
Hi, Rachel. This is Jalika. I'm so glad you started your videos, again. I enjoy them very much. Thank you for your wishes of good health, during these times. God bless you and your family also. Thanks again. I'm going to make a stock myself, so when I make soup I will use fresh homemade stock. Thank you again.
Hi Rachel! I recommend the channel number blocks for your kids. My 4 year old love's it ,and he learn how to add. Hopefully it your kids will love it too.😊
Semi Veg, I’ve always wanted to homeschool but bc of situations throughout the years, I have been unable to do. My children r older, but my 12 year old is doing public school at home now. It’s giving us the experience without an entire school year commitment. My oldest is 21 and a junior in college but I have a 1 year old that I really think I want to homeschool. I live in SC and they passed a law that 4 year olds go to all day kindergarten from 8:00-2:30. That is just too long, in my opinion. I’m trying to look at the positives in this situation and seeing what I can learn from this quarantine experience.
I was SO happy when I saw that you uploaded. Thank you for the wonderful video! Your tips were really helpful- I definitely want to try out your stock recipe. I’m glad you and your family are staying healthy and enjoying quality time💕
