yes!! it's so hard when you normally put so much effort into NOT isolating yourself... I've found staying connected virtually helps as well as taking walks or just going outside (taking the trash out/sitting outside/breathing fresh air). good luck to you and everyone else struggling with this, we'll get through it ❤️ hope you stay safe, physically and mentally

PSA: Yes, cats "smile." When they blink softly and slowly at you, as Zyler does at 01:50, that is the cat equivalent of smiling at someone they love and trust. Also, the head nuzzling Menchie does at 09:05 is called Bunting, and is an affectionate scent-marking behaviour to make sure everyone smells the same and like eachother. She's saying "I love you but you don't smell enough like me yet. Imma fix that!" Tl;dr: Cats are loving and we don't deserve them, and we should be extra thankful to Cristine and Beyyynnn for raising two awesome kitties and sharing that with us in this crappy time of fear and panic. Yessss! I love it when my cats get all over me, like :"Mom, I love you, but you don't smell enough like me... Here, let me help", and then a lot of head butting, nuzzling and such ensues. Mostly from my older kitty, Cookie, who's a momma's boy. And I also love the slow blink, belly showing, and overall trust they show us. My little heart can't take it when I am able to take Léo (our younger kitteh) into my arms. Like, he's a scaredy cat, a bit wild still, not the most trusting, but he still lets me take him in my arms and move around the house for like a few minutes. And I'm the only one allowed such behaviour (however, his dad is the one getting all the snuggles and lap cat stuff from him, lol). Also, the kneading in such relaxed manner show that the cat is really happy and content. Gotta love kittehs.

Audrey Latt my sister’s cat does this but with hair ties. She LOVES hair ties. Catches them in the air, plays with them for a bit, then brings them back and yells until we toss again. She doesn’t like the ones with metal joints and the rounder they are, the better. Also if she sees you with one on your wrist and you aren’t taking it off to play she will YELL.
