How can we get Nelly's Hut #...I'm interested to stay in a 'bahay kubo - nipa hut' just for experience to my son who grew up in 🇺🇸...thanks and how much is it?
I only started following you when the lockdown started, since you moved to that small house where you started your cooking vlogs, but I have since watched pretty much all your past travel vlogs. I admire your simple outlook in life. I like how you can always adapt to any situation and place, without complaining. I love how you love our country. Thank you. I wish you all the best, and I'm praying that you get your visa stuff without any hiccups. Continue to stay safe and healthy. Iooking forward to updates on your stay in the Philippines. God bless!
From Puerto Princesa here! 🙋♀️ Pristine beach was indeed pristine BEFORE, I promise. Residents usually go there on weekends for a quick get together with friends and family. My family goes on a weekday in the morning tho when tide is really high. Less crowd. 🙂
*_Aaw, I miss traveling so much, I miss El Nido specifically. I first experienced my island hopping in El Nido in 2015. Was supposed to be back there last March but covid got in the way. I miss the feeling of excitement when I'm in the airport waiting for my plane. I also miss the feeling of being in a beach resort where everyone is happy. I love Palawan and always will. Hope everything goes back to normal._* 😔
Currently watching you on Smart TV and also my laptop. It's great to see my hometown. Puerto Princesa has changed a lot. I was born there but grew up in Cebu and now stuck in Vietnam. Thanks for the Nipa Hut tour. And yeahhh rooting for your 100K subscribers!
@@robertpaulmoncatar4665 do I know you? LOL. Pretty nostalgic! Ibang iba na lang talaga siya sa kinalakihan ko, more pavements, more buildings. Sometimes it's best to keep everything the way they were pero change does not work that way. BTW, when I surprised visit Daddy nung 2018, I also rented a nipa hut sa bayan kasi gabi flight ko nun and I didn't know how to go home pa-Sta. Monica.
In that toilet that thing there is called TABO, we use it in cleaning our body or body parts. Nipa hut is very common in some provinces here in the Philippines. I like this vlog, thanks. Keep safe guys.
@@JumpingPlaces I don't know why Westerners are surprised with a pail and a dipper in the bathroom. I suppose they expect rural houses to always have a shower head and a bidet? If all you have is a faucet, then the easiest and cheapest technology to pair with it is a pail and a dipper.
It's great to see such an excellent presentation of life on the island of Palawan! Job well done. Hopefully the time will come again soon enough when tourists will be able to travel once again to these locations.
Advanced happy 100k subscribers!!! You two deserve a million! Pictures of places you have shown or showed are worth millions total of paradise you two have been!! We all thank you !! From pittsburg CA sending my congratulations!!!!
Your channel suddenly popped in my timeline because of Bahay Kubo, I've been watching many videos about it. I just wanna share some facts. I'm a Palaweña and I know this place. I haven't visited the Pristine beach for years which is 1/3 beaches called White Beach. My last visit there I think was in 2016 for my vacation from work in Dubai. There are three entrances there & Pristine Beach is located in the middle. Back then, Prinstine Beach is the secret passage if you don't wanna pay entrances from two main beaches/entrances until the authority or owner of this beach discovered and so they started charging the visitors (locals & tourists). White Beach is actually so nice and clean years ago. Now seeing the new look (thanks for sharing) I think, it's already polluted and populated. Many concrete structures were seen unlike before, they're purely cottages made of light and native materials. The carbon footprint in this beaches are shown. The sea level also won't reach near the seashore & cottages. Sea waters were crystal clear, clean & you can feel the fresh air & appreciate the beauty of nature. Yet, now, I don't think visitors can do that anymore. No wonder, less locals & tourists visits the place & detour for new & more pleasant beaches or resorts. 😞
Nice to see all this places i have never been to but you have. I was born in PH, but migrated to USA. Your vlog is encouraging me to visit those places. Continue exploring and sharing. Thank you.
Its an old beach here in Puerto Princesa. In the old days its very beautiful with clear water and white sand. Now the area is populated. Keep safe Guys.

I am from Puerto Princesa. If you are still there you can try beaches within puerto princesa. You can ride a scooter around. Go to Nagtabon beach, Talaudyong beach and Tagkawayan beach. Enjoy your stay in our city!

I am a musician (bassist) and played in bands in Cebu from 2011 to 2013. So that's our story what is yours?
Excited that you’re exploring Puerto Princessa. I’ve been wanting to go there one day but still deciding if it’s worth going to. Nothing like El Nido. Watching from San Diego , CA
I grew up swimming on that beach. It wasn’t as pretty as before. Sad. But thank you i get to see my hometown for a glimpse. Hope to come home after this Pandemic. Stay safe and healthy.
Hi guys good day Chris and carol you have a nice bahay Kubo I remember bahay Kubo of my grandmother back in Province and I love to live there. Enjoy your life enjoy travel and enjoy im the Philippines
Omg ! Wow you two still in the Philippines!?? Thaaaaats good!!!! Just chill keep having fun in paradise !!!!! You two are sweet people!!! God be with you !!!!
Chris, love how you show the good with the bad, as far as the typical public toilets, no seat of course. Squat here. And forget about having toilet paper. The pail & laddle is called a 'ta-bo' in tagalog.
And you really don't want to touch the balde and tabo either. I even use my foot to flush the toilet. And since this one doesn't even have a flush, better just leave it bright orange and let the janitor flush it. lol
💖 ALOHA from the Big Island of Hawaii. I know your explorations will reveal so many new & interesting places. Looking forward to see what you find while out and around.
