Hey Mark. I just wanted to say thank you for continuing these solo trips. You’re such a beautiful and kind person inside and out. You’re truly helping me and others that relate to your videos and content all the time. Thank you for always being the best version of yourself and always being you never changing for anyone else. Not all the fakeness you see on social media. These solo trips and other videos you do truly feel real and inspiring to us all. It’s hard to find good content to watch but yours truly is always the one I go and watch when I’m feeling down, unwell or not having the best day. So thank you 💜. I’m going to be doing my first solo trip to England and Scotland in September after watching your videos and other peoples solo trip videos that made me have the confidence to do it 😎.

Omg YAY, you were in Canterbury! 😮 fun fact, the building that had the little doors used to be a dance school. And one Orlando Bloom attended when he was young! It always sounded like the floor was going to collapse because the building was so old 😂

Hi Mark hope all is well with yourself.I just wanna say last nine months have been so so tough for my family and I and you have been my comfort not in a weird way lol but when I watch you the smile on me chops so thank you.I was saying to my husband marks staying in a tree house he was "what" I was yes and how beautiful and cozy it was and watching you it's made me feel I'm ready because like you Im a homely girl luv me comforts and after two days I'm ready to come home and I pack the kitchen sink 😆.I struggle with change and being away from what i know its all to do with my mental health but i want to enjoy and experience life now and you have helped me so honestly thank you x

8:50 I stayed in an Airbnb in that building. The doors were definitely short lol, but it was a really cute and unique place to stay! We also ate at the Refectory Kitchen. Thanks for bringing back good memories!☺

Should you do another wilderness type stay maybe get yourself a small battery camping lantern incase there are no lamps. Glad you're back out and about ! It is difficult to sleep somewhere different especially if it's quiet and you're use to noise! XOXO
Marrkkk!! So glad you had this wonderful little trip and got to enjoy a place that's really special to me. Refectory Kitchen has such good food and is in a really lovely spot of Canterbury! I hope you come back to visit soon - and maybe even consider Dover, just 20 minutes away! We have a lovely beach, cliff walks and a castle.

Mark, you are my biggest inspiration. As an androgynous, gender-neutral person, I have had to fight hard to feel accepting of myself, and have always experienced feelings of not "fitting in". I felt like if I was with my old group of friends from school in the street and I stopped to tie my shoelace, they wouldn't stop and wait for me... (not the huns for me). You have taught me the greatest lessons of self-love, and feeling like you shouldn't change for anyone, and to embrace your "weirdness" (I am also a major movie nerd, and dream of travelling to film locations or even making my own movies one day). I still have a (very!!) long way to go in terms of loving myself, but each video I watch of yours makes that path seem much more clear. I wish there was an English word for "someone you've never met who feels like a home away from home", because that's how I would describe you for me. Keep showing off your magic
Always lovely to watch you try something new! Long day away was 13 days at Disney ❤ I don’t mind being away at all so it was easy, my husband is a nervous traveller and just wants to be home, especially at the end of a trip. Can’t wait for the next vlog!

Always love the solo trip vlogs ❤ Longest I've been away from home was 2 months as I did my internship in a whole different country (S. Korea). The first day was so tough ngl but I adapted quick~ By the last week tho I couldn't wait to go home and eat local food 😂

Hey mark this is such a lovely relaxing vlog, i am hoping to book a stay like this 😍 The owners need to see this and give the tree house some more soft furnishes. A lovely green upholstered soft head board, blankets, led candles, lamps. Fairy lights would be so nice on the tree that was above the tv. A bigger side table (the stuff that was on it looked like it was too cramped). It looked a bit unfinished to me 😅
I’m actually kinda early! But I want to say if you ever see this, me and ell from the chummies are going to be meeting again this year. I’m going to go to Leeds to go see her around May and it’s basically going to be a chummies meet up 8 whole years of the chummies and it’s being celebrated by us meeting again! Loved this! I live in a small village where i grew up, and where my parents are and my sister and my family, and it’s so peaceful here in our neighborhood🥰and village i love it when it’s quiet, and when you said you hate winter i was like my heart dropped😱😭 It’s my second favorite season next to autumn that is my soulmate season! I hate spring cause of my hayfever and cutting grass is my biggest allergy , I wouldn’t get any air through my nose🤣🤧 But my spooky soul loves the full moon even though i sleep bad when it’s full moon but i feel and love it’s magic, and with that tree it made me feel all the October feels🥰🎃🍂 And i think i left that message about grieving in you’re dm😉 You are welcome Mark! It wouldn’t be a Mark Ferris trip vlog where he goes I’m staying in a treehouse lol followed up by oh it’s in a tree! If i dont have a lamp, i put the torch on my phone 😅 either putting the phone face down on the side (if you arent using it) or just having the torch on as you are using it haha, lights the room up nicely
have you checked out screws in eye glasses kits for your camera? i don't know about the uk but in america most grocery stores have kits hanging on end caps or in check out lines, and i bet they're at a lot of gas stations too
