▷ About Paul:
Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles.

never forget those that came before him or burnt out/found god and re-committed their lives to christ/god and more importantly skating the various OG's of the golden era late 70s mid 80s. Sometimes when i cant get a trick or get pissed im older/taking a lot of time out of my session to land my go-to or ideal tricks...i just think about dudes like twuan, Jayboy...even Cardiel with his injury that forced him off the board or from his god tier ripping status...and i get my shit together and land some tricks for them. I act like jayboy is watching and knows just like god...that so long as i persevere ill figure it out stomp that shit and i feel like im making them proud. Thats the kind of energy and feel i get watching any antwuan footage.

brother help me convince P-rod, Nyjah and Dixon to a 3 piece vid together all street, just them 3 skating street together, hell thats the name right there " 3 PIECE PART " you could do a skit to start it off like they are ordering food , server : "what will you have today guys " p-rod : Dixon : Nyjah " we will have the 3 piece part " dude I mean talk about motivation and inspirtaion like paul was saying, a sk8 flick like that is what the skate heads need right now, to show that after all the sh*t talking, assumpitions and all the fame 3 hommies can rip together and put out an epic vid with you filming for sure . BTW I see you had an amazing time in my hometown of vancouver and white rock so good to see those vids while Im stuck stuck here in toronto newly disabled and unable to skate oh special guests for the vid Landy Landerson and Malto

Nyjah is almost unbelieveable, with his non-stop onslaught of back-to-back, perfectly executed, top-tier tricks. I was in awe, watching him work here. Nyjah is one of THE Greatest Skaters Ive ever seen. He deserves an EXTREMELY lofty place in the History Books of Skateboarding. I dont care what he wears; how he swears; or if he stares - when you have reached Nyjahs level? You have the right to do whatever-you-want, whenever-you-want to do it. Hollow chatter regarding hair and fashion and shoes means ZERO in the face of such amazing skill and talent. These "critiques" are only the poorly-disguised, jealous mutterings of silly high-school children. I am sure people pick on him, for everything off-the-board, (behind safely closed doors), because it would be an impossibility to knock the Mans skating: Hes the Greatest. Prod is one of the smoothest switch riders because you can’t tell he’s riding switch if you didn’t know his stance. Watch everyone else do a switch trick they tuck their shoulder and prods is wide open like in everyone’s normal stance. Like watch antwuans switch heel and his tucked shoulder compared to prods switch flip

Prod had kind of a rule for himself growing up that every rep of every trick he did had to be done in both his regulat (goofy) stance as well as switch… same for a run, once he finished it clean regular it had to be done clean switch… there’s a reason the man has always been the absolute best switch stance, practically ambidextrous, skater we’ve ever had

There’s these things on medium sized planes called wing deice boots, they’re rubber things that inflate on the leading edge of plane wings to break off ice buildup. I 100% had prior knowledge in removing and installing them from gripping boards as a kid. Basically you don’t want any air pockets gotta lay it down right. technique is similar in sticking them and removing them.
