It's the lone star tick that triggers allergies to red meat. I'm sorry about the Lyme disease but for people out there if you catch the tick bite in time you can take medicine to stop you from getting Lyme disease.

Back in the 70's, we took a "vacation" to Arkansas with the family. My sister must have been 6 at that time. My mom took her into the beautiful countryside to do some photography. The allergy you mentioned, Alpha-gal Syndrome, is a life threatening allergy developed when a tick bites an animal that has the sugar galactose-α-1,3-galactose (Alpha-gal) in it's blood. That tick then bites you and transfers the sugar into your blood where your body identifies it as a foreign agent and attacks it. Your immune system now remembers that foreign agent forever, and will react every time it sees it anywhere in your body. Almost all 4 legged animals have this sugar in their blood. This sugar is normally digested without problems, but if your immune system has been programmed to attack it, you will never be able to eat red meat, gelatin, cow’s milk, and milk products again.

EJ that was totally my idea written an RV in hitting every casino. I love it you guys should do it I don’t have the funds or I would do it. I drive truck for a living and I go to a lot of casinos but it be a lot easier to have an RV and just travel like a business expense, good idea
