Of course he has to take responsibility for his actions however these kinds of groups don't go after well adjusted and happy people do they? They all convinced him that they are good people and only defended themselves against the muslims that according to them was the real criminals. Ste was brainwashed thinking that muslims wanted to take over the society with new laws. He was just extremely stupid to think something like that so when he crashed a motorbike and wanted to destroy a place for muslims he thought he did the right thing. He beat up Jed for betraying them and he should have got the right insight back then but he didn´t and I also think that he was in some kind of denial and I think they made him feel that he had a worth and helped him to find his self-esteem and confidence in life and that he actually had found the right friends. Ste is a stupid character but now he finally got the insight even if it is very (too) late. He wanted to get away from them and was threatened and got scared but asked Jed for help and managed to get away from them to meet Jed and then he went back to pick up his belongings and was kidnapped and beaten up by them and couldn´t escape. In real life he should have escaped with Jed when he had the chance without any belongings with help from Prevent instead of going back to them as Prevent should understand how dangerous this group is. Staying with them is risking his own life. The fact that Prevent said to him to go back to them was the most stupid advice ever!! It should never be like that in real life!!

@@ChelseyLinden bleaching hair doesn't wear off, it strips the pigment from hair irreversibly. It either grew out or he had it dyed. Some hair dyes don't change the hair structure and therefore wash out with each hair wash, but unless it's semi permanent, your hair will not go back to the colour it was before
