Hey guys - I am thinking of starting a new series where i will upload once a week - the idea is "Crafted Tmog, is it worth it?" - I would be crafting and posting aswell as expanding my crafting empire and acquire more and more recipes to see if you can actually make decent gold with this method. Is this something you guys would think could be interesting? let me know.
I do crafted transmog myself to earn gold, but I would love to see someone else's take on it. I make 200k+ a week just keeping stuff posted (not counting any big sales that my drop in).
That would be really interesting to see. I've always had my characters craft whatever they can use for their class but it would be interesting to see if some of those alts can make some extra gold with that.
@@mhjgoldadventures Tried a few times just even setting up groups and posting from TSM and it stops me with an error every time. No good videos out there going through step by step on how to set it up. Yours looked really clean too.
@@zjidian2887 Ill make a video of me going over the basics of a farming selling profile, and then i will also show how i have my crafted tmog setup in a video coming next week. :)
Hey Leonard! - Any server can work when farming trade goods and materials, if you want to make gold with crafting and flipping i would recommend a high or full pop server :)
@mhjgoldadventures I suppose if you're really min-maxing the time vs profit thing it makes sense to do a run of each thing separately since they don't drop any special kind of leather. It's like speedrunning when you wonder why the runner didn't do X while doing Y and then you realise it's because of optimisation, not because of lack of optimisation.
hey I've watched your videos, good stuff! any special reason though you choose to almost exclusively do outland farms? I myself love outland, favorite place of mine, and I wanted to make some gold before the next expansion so looked up guides and these outland farms seem really popular right now, any thoughts? I might be wrong and it might just be my feed that is biased.
Outland farms yield the most for me, specificly the terrokar forest ones. they are usually always 20k/hour for me :) There are alot of reputation farms, and people tend to do achievements and collet tmog/toys/mounts at the end of patches and expansions
@@mhjgoldadventures I see, yeah totally :) and on that point, do you think it would be worth to save a few stacks of Shadow Dust and spider/basilisk items for the TBC timewalking event on the 28th, thinking people will go ham and prices up because of the rep buff?
@@janjanthejan Tbh, i have never really kept an eye on the prices during those events, i always just sell it straight away, its so easy to farm more anyway - You could save some and test it out :)
@@mhjgoldadventures I see :) yeah I'll probably do that. I've been doing a farm for an hour yesterday and an hour today, my route is Skettis for Shadow Dust and then the spiders just outside of Skettis to the west where you mentioned, to switch up the items a little. So far I am averaging 18k an hour so can confirm your farms work and the items sell! :P
Crafted tmog would be awesome. But keep it simple to start with for us simple folk. Ive seen some guides that just run off at a hundred mph. Sure things can more complicated as times go by but at least I can go back and watch the simple stuff 😂
