The complicated theory of Study and Non Uniform flow is nicely explained. Sir u made magic with this glass box.Ur 16 min lecture is far batter then 16 hours lecture of INDIAN theory based lecture.I realised that in India the lecture they are taking u to a imaginary world where entire class u have to only imagine.
Great video!! I'm currently learning Open Channel Flow & your channel seems perfect to clear my doubts! Please make a video on channel transitions, specific energy, gradually varied flow & hydraulic jumps.
Great video! Thank you. I am trying to find an example of steady, non-uniform flow in nature. Could this be step pools in mountainous areas that create hydraulic jumps? Or would that be considered unsteady, non uniform flow? Thanks again for the video
Yep that would be a good example of steady, non-uniform flow because despite the change in the flow-depth spatially, there would not be a significant change in the depth at any given point with time. Of course, there would be small fluctuations in the depth with time, but it would be small relative to the total depth. But this does show that steady/unsteady is actually more to do with the scale you are looking at. If you looked at any flow under a microscope, it would be unsteady as there would always be some small fluctuations with time.
