Thanks for sharing your trip to Savannah with us. Omg, the last time I was in Savannah was 18 years ago. Little did I know...my then boyfriend planned on asking me to be his wife! That evening after we spent a wonderful day exploring Savannah. We absolutely love that area in the south it is so beautiful!! And it will always have a special place in my heart.❤ Your video has inspired me to get out of Chicago, and come and visit Savannah again!
I totally cried one day when I was thinking about how he is always so happy to be my buddy and roams with the camera and TOTALLY gets excited about shutter colors and gardens. He's totally my BFF!
Twenty six years ago when my husband and I were newlyweds we spent a PERFECT weekend in Savannah, and I can honestly say that no place we've visited since then has topped it. We went at the very end of March and ALL of the azaleas were in bloom which was absolutely breath taking! We stayed at the Olde Harbour Inn, right on the river, where we could watch the ships go by from our little balcony. Not only that, we stayed in a room where the bed was in a loft, with a skylight above the bed, and there just happened to be a full moon that weekend so we could lay in our bed and see the moon above us (I told you it was perfect!) We walked every inch of that city, visited all the town squares, strolled along the waterfront, shopped and dined, and toured many of the historical homes. I was in heaven, and like you I took hundreds of pictures of the flowers/greenery, homes, and architectural details. We haven't been back since then, but I will never forget that magical, PERFECT weekend!!!
I think you are the absolute cutest couple and you radiate love! Joanne and Chip, Tom Hanks and Rita, move over because this is the “IT” couple. Thank you for doing these Savannah videos, my daughter was a graduate of the fashion design school at SCAD which is by far and away a very hands on school and the best of the best! Her goal is to move back to Savannah as soon as possible, she loved life there so much!
This was such a beautiful video. I don’t know why, but it brought me to tears. Maybe it’s just what I was needing to see, not only the beauty of Savannah but your passion for history and design as well. It is so refreshing to listen to you describe its beauty during this time of change. I work in healthcare and have worked straight through the “pandemic “. I think this was just what I needed to watch right now. ❤️
Thank you for being willing to do what you do. I admire you! And, I'm glad you had this little break with Valentina and Jack and with all of us, who are sharing it with you. Beauty can help us heal.
It brings me so much joy to know that you enjoyed it so much with us. I hope the pandemic will be over soon and we will be able to share more and see more in these coming days. It's our dream to take you guys to our favorite places all around the world! Thank you so much for all you have done , all that work and dedication mean so much to us! love and hugs!
Love Love Love every inch of this vlog!!! I couldn’t agree MORE! So many shades of Paris,..... Thank you Valentina!!! You and your hubby are so sweet together btw!!!
Love love Savannah, we lived near Savannah for 2 years and I worked there. We still go there almost every year and dine in the Olympia Cafe on River Street, good Greek food, the owner Niko is a wonderful host!
You are going to have to take us on the road with you more often. Turn it into a series! Enjoyed the beautiful inspo pictures. Try Blue Ridge, Georgia next!!!
Welcome! WELCOME!!! So HAPPY you came to visit our beautiful city!!! If ever you come back, and you'd like to see the "insides", please reach out...we have 26 buildings throughout the Historic District, several in mid renovation..would love to share! Hope you had a fabulous time...looks like you toured in the perfect manner..no schedule, wandering on foot to enjoy all the amazing details!
OMG you two are taking me to the best places like now in Savannah and at Alys Beach. Please keep showing us more. It’s your artistic eye that is wonderous. You are also a great photographer.
Aww... it’s so cute to watch you two. I was just there with my boyfriend and his daughter. We drove from Charleston to Savanna because she wanted to checkout SCAAD. We walked around and ate at a vegan restaurant called Fox and Fig. It was AMAZING! On a side note those bugs are pronounced cicadas and I hate them! 😝 The best way to keep them out of your porch is paint the ceiling haint blue, it’s a common color down south.
This was so great. I do similarly. I made my husband take about 90 pics of high gloss black painted doors while we were in Boston. Also, my go to Zillow cities are Savannah, Boston, Charleston, etc. I use Sotheby's to scope out Paris apartments for inspiration.
That was our initial goal and to do WAY more shop tours with video, but with Corona still happening it was just too soon. Hopefully we will be able to do that very soon!
So genuinely and completely happy. It's our dream to buy a home there and create a House of Valentina escape/air bnb that everyone could enjoy. Wouldn't that be so fun?!
This video made me homesick. Savannah is slightly more than halfway between my home and my family's home in south FL. I stop there every time I make the trip. I've visited Savannah during every season of the year and they are all heavenly. I love to walk and walk and walk. As you said, the God created vegetation and the man-made architecture are spectacular. The sights, sounds, and smells all capture my attention and make me want to stay. It has a way of convincing me that I just traveled back in time. Valentina, why did you have to mention the Spice Lavender Mocha? Every time you mention your favorite lavender drinks I salivate and it requires constraint, because I'm allergic to lavender. Yes, I know. So sad! And...Why, Oh why, have I not been to The Paris Market? Well... I'm not going to let that happen again! Thank you for letting us share some time with you and Jack! I can't to see what's coming up next.
no!! you are allergic to lavender! We just need to find you another substitute! Maybe honeysuckle or elderflower? MY dad is a pilot and every year he went down to Savannah for his training so we went pretty often and even as a kid I was so taken with what a beautiful place Savannah is. And you absolutely MUST go to the Paris Market. I have no idea how we didn't know about it until our last visit! xoxo
So pleased for you two, you work so hard with all of your videos, so perfect to have some time away, and connect with each other again, love love love your videos, love June from Aus.
This place, Savannah, is so gorgeous and romantic, and breath taking everywhere you look. The style reminds me of New Orleans, La. where I use to live, perhaps the houses, the park with the beautiful trees with the moss hanging, which gives the park such a romantic feel. Anyway, now I want to go visit Savannah because of this vlog. Thank you so much for the visit. (( hugs ))
I would add two restaurants - the Crystal Beer Parlor a historic restaurant on the prettiest street in Savannah, Jones Street. Casual dining and great food! And, the Gryphon, a wonderful place to have lunch or afternoon tea, set among mahogany bookcases and stained glass - servers are from SCAD - Savannah College of Art and Design. We go to these two places every year we visit - I hope you visit one day!
I love the Gryphon too. I happened upon it the first time I visited Savannah and now stop in every time I'm in town. Tradition! (May not have reopened yet.)

I hate when visitors go to Savannah and don't catch the best stuff....arghhh...it makes me so 😠...Savannah is 10 times better than shown..I guess these two were in the room most of the time..lol...sorry ...video coming soon
