So, I've noticed comments that were concerned if the ending will be showcased for this series. I've spoken with senukin and have gotten permission and access to the ending of this series. I appreciate the concern but otherwise, expect this series to be fully completed on the channel. My guess it's an arranged marriage, so she doesn't actually have a 'connection' to the other guy or the friend help set it up for him to go after her to get them together once and for all.

Honestly I don't agree with people saying this will be NTR even if they end up together. Unless this groom guy Lan-san is marrying actually did stuff in the background we saw nothing about up until now, making her fall in love with him rather than Long-san and ensuring her business failed, there isn't really "cheating" or humiliation here, is there? Both of those require some level of emotional attachment, and from Lan-san's interactions with Long-san as well as her hardworking nature trying to make her cafe work, she has emotional attachments to her freedoms and him (who respresents freedom to her in a way since he's the one she _chose_ to love and likely wants to marry if she must marry, not was forced to "love" and marry him by her parent's requirement). He's stealing the bride but as long as he doesn't make a huge deal out of it, I'd say it's not NTR. If anything, I can only see this ending with him taking Lan-san back after convincing her parents he can be a good husband to her and care for her needs, she doesn't have to do things on her own. It would wrap up this plot twist quite nicely because, while Lan-san wanted to be self-sufficient and on her own and that seemed to be her original main motivation, her parents had this mindset that she needs to have someone there to keep care of her. Think of that as you will, but there is some truth to that. She is young, we all are in some way, so she hasn't truly seen the world for what it is and they're worried it's going to tear her down, especially if she runs into trouble with folks who have a more traditional mindset and actively want to cause trouble. So, if she could prove to them she could be self-sufficient they would back off. If not, she would need to be arranged with a partner who could provide her the extra bit of safety she needs when she falls down, or to act as her "caretaker" in times when she runs into that sort of discrimination. While it is certainly outdated thinking, there are still lots of folks who will espouse that more "traditional" mindset that 'women are homemakers, not coffee shop owners' way of thinking and could try to ensure she can't move up in life or simply take advantage of her. Her parents, in their own way, have her best interests at heart. However, what they don't realize is that, in her freedom, she was able to find someone to do just what they needed and she was probably so caught up on the bet that she either didn't want to or forgot to tell them about Long-san, meaning we are left in this situation. He wouldn't be stealing the bride out of malice but because he knows he can be the one to really fix the problem. Other dude, the groom, can fix all but one from what we can tell: someone for her to love and to love her back, which is what Long-san is. This is, frankly, the opposite of NTR. In fact, since it is presumed that our groom is actually not just willing to give her everything she needs and more, as well as finding a way to love her even though the marriage is decided for them, the NTR tag can be taken away just for that because Lan-san wouldn't love him and would long for her freedom regardless what groom boy could do. Usually, NTR will have the villain steal the partner so they can use the partner and so have can have the thrill of chasing and corrupting an already in-love or married person. Now, arranged marriages are certainly a way to NTR a protagonist, but there has to be some level of love or at least carnal attraction the partner has to NTR villain. In this case, and with how she's acted, I just don't see that for Lan-san. She really does love Long-san. She was so devastated that things didn't work out that, rather than completely destroying Long-san's heart and taking on the burden of watching him fall apart, and probably fall apart herself in the process, she just quietly left. She hoped he would never find out about things and move on. Cowardly? Sure you could say that. But they're both young and I'm sure she felt like she was in a love that could never bear fruit because of her situation. So now, we see him find out and chase after her because he does love her and he did find out and he's not going to let her live in misery or basically enslaved. Call my reasoning mental gymnastics but I usually see NTR as the partner being used, the victim getting harassed and broken, and the villain not genuinely wanting to help the partner, instead having a sick desire to tear apart a healthy relationship. This is the opposite. Long-san wants to save Lan-san from a life of being trapped by her arranged marriage where it was quite likely her life would be relegated to cleaning the house, bearing and raising the kids while he goes to work, and hosting parties like a good traditional wife. If there's anything more it would be very little. Long-san saw her in a very different light. She was a woman who would make a good wife but also lived like any other human. Strong and able to run her own business. Plus, he doesn't seem to mind that she does, if anything it seems to be a subconcious attractor for him. He wants her for her, not for someone to bear and raise his children while keeping his house clean and making his food when he gets home. The biggest difference from NTR to this situation is that he actively wants her happiness, and she wants him and his happiness. There is genuine love. This arranged marriage spits in the face of their genuine love and puts her firmly under the boots of her parents. Long-san can fix that and actively is. This isn't one person being used, another person being destroyed, and a third person deriving sick pleasure from it all. So yeah, there's my long rant about why I really disagree with the NTR tag being applied here unless the ending chapter takes a crazy, crazy path and reveals something that wasn't even hinted at until now (which is, frankly, just bad writing). The pacing of the story and how things have gone thus far shows things will be OK. Long-san just has to talk to and convince Lan-san's parents he us right for her, which he is. Then again if this turns NTR in the last chapter I riot.
