I mod Skyrim for realistic lighting, stealth detection, and AI aggression. Also use one that shuts off the encounter zones. Stealth archer by itself totally falls apart as soon as the NPCs take a permanent a lively interest in someone trying to kill them. At that point, you’re actively engaging with the games systems, which is my homebrew definition of balanced… *I shout into the simulated void.
@@davidmoss9943 realistic AI detection. Vivid Weathers or RAID, I prefer VV with the night setting at 0 with moonlight normal. Interiors is your pick. Lux and ENB for interiors is great, so is enb and ia92 crispy light. I just prefer ELFX because I’m familiar and it’s more of a total package, with less patchwork. Long Distance Combat AI (It’ll have the Skyrim at War logo)deals with the EZs, but there are many mods that do this. I really like the EMILI package for unrelated reasons and nothing will stop chasing you for a real long way with that. I do a lot of other things to make the game more immersive, but if you run those mods, you’ll have to actually hide in shadows, the bad guys will look for you longer, and stealth will no longer be the only way you start engagements. In short, you just have to think more and engage with the games systems. Also, there is a mod that will let you sustain spells…I forgot the name I’ve used it so long, but it makes magika matter, and makes legendary difficulty feel that way. I say this because the thief related illusion spells are all sustained in that mod. Gives you options.
Yeah but when you level up in sneak and get the knife perk it makes all sneak knife attacks do 15 times the damage. Me and my dragon bone dagger can insta kill Any enemy 😎
@@ubon420 cool.. try to mix it up with conjuration too since illusion doesn't really work well against solo boss like dragon or dragon priest, i just use summon dremora lord just to kill the boss
