This camera runs flawlessly...as I own (11) of them and literally have never had a problem with any of them. If you decide to use lithium batteries, you’ll use the batteries for more than a year, but they are expensive but worth it. The pic quality is amazing and to one step further...I make photo books on Shutterfly to keep the good ones, to look back at the bucks of years past for genetics and just overall memories. Plus this helps with making available room on my computer by getting rid of them. Have been doing so for the last several years. The G45 is the best trail cam I’ve ever owned.
I have recently adquired one of this, i think this model and Moultrie M 40 i are the best cheap options to buy . For surveillance I recommend Stealth G 45 because is no glow IR emitter
I own one too, and I have the same results. Good day, crappy night pics. And I cannot get the MP changed to 14 like it says to. I was going to buy two. Glad I didn't.
Try mounting your camera facing away from the general direction your weather comes in. It won't help with every storm but if you know that generally storms come from the Northeast then mount the camera with its back to the Northeast. Also try to avoid areas of the woods/fields that have a lot of swirling winds that would pick up Snow and blast your camera with it.
