STEALTH camping at Gatwick Airport - micro camper van life UK 

I remember seeing an American RU-vidr who lived in a Stealth Camper parked in a Back Corner of a multi story Carpark in an American city for Three Years whilst attending College. Whilst it cost him a few Dollars for parking each night, it offered him Two really good advantages. Firstly he had a Water Tap right next to his Van and secondly he had an Electrical Power Outlet close by. So for a nightly fee of a few Dollars he had relatively secure undercover parking with unlimited Water and Power. No wonder he stayed there Three Years.

I don't usually comment on youtube or anywhere else really but I feel you deserve it. I just stumbled upon your van conversion video which I really liked. You do great content but it's not just that, it's the quality of the videos (not too much shaking), various angles, well edited but your personality also plays a lot. You feel real and not the type we're getting too used to seeing on social media: fake. It's refreshing to watch your videos. I live in a motorhome myself and would have loved to do a trip with you but unfortunately I just moved back to France in December with no plans to come back to England so ... But if you ever come down to the South of France, hit me up. Obviously, stealth isn't a thing for motorhomes :D PS: Loved the poo joke. I cracked up as son as you lifted your hand up.

I do a lot of landscape photography, I did have a Renault scenic stealth minivan, It died recently at 3 hundred thousand km and I miss it dearly, but you reminded me of sleeping through -12 in the Alpes and all of the inside of the glass was frozen. Good times. I am enjoying your progress and wishing you more adventures and good times.

Love the hot water bottle in the bed! I use an electric blanket to stay warm in the winter when doing vanlife.

Loved this solo stealth camp video. Great spot, has a huge risk of being busted! I did read a comment of yours that said you cut some footage because you don’t want your videos to be long. One thing I love about KBDproductiontv and Steve Wallace is that they are longer. It’s like actually watching a full on tv show. Hi and good evening, I just found your channel tonight and watch your stealth at Gatwick ,I live 5 mins from the airport and know how vigilant the security is there so you done well by spending the night at it without being detected. I really enjoyed the vlog and loved the pan used for eggy bread( also my fav quick food) .i am interested in the projector and screen that you have, what projector is it and what size is the screen, if you don’t mind me asking, I noticed on Amazon that you can get a screen and projector package but not sure the size you have but it looks great. Just watched your build vid and this one back to back. Great van build, have a nissan nv200 stealth van, a little bit more basic than yours. The stealth camp was a great choice and something i do often., in particular residential districts arriving late and leaving early.............no one being any the wiser ! The cylinder stove topped heater looked like something i may consider. Cheers to you both Mike in County Durham

You could try battery powered waistcoats used my motorbikes, like wearing an electric blanket and with a good battery should run all night on a low or medium setting. It what allows me ride in freezing temps.

Ridgemonkey do toilets you should look into them mate ridgemoney is a fishing brand there toilet would be ideal for your needs

Lessons learned from this video: 1) Proper insulation is needed for comfort, not just a thin layer on single layer sheet metal, 2) A heater, like a propane fired one with outside vents and stuff would be nice to have anyway and it is a must for winter.

From a security viewpoint, much better to hide in plain sight, tucked it the far corner there is much more sus looking.. Ask yourself, hmmm, where would the terrorist be? The naughty kids are always at the back of the bus, or the back of the classroom, lol. That being said, it's a nice friendly/non-threatening colour.

never paid to park a single night in the 8 mos i camped in my bmw x5. Walmart, cracker barrel etc all have free camper parking. etc. Gotta be something like that there. btw 0c degrees isnt cold in my suv it seems to run about 30+ degrees wamer if all the windows are closed with me and my dog. If you gotta do a super shit just look for a hotel they have public very clean and seldom used bathrooms in the main hallway by law here in the US and they have no idea if you're a guest just walk in like you stay there, in fact if you're an asshole you can get free breakfast in the morning lol

£45 to park at Gatwick for the night? Fcuk me last time I went to Gatwick it was about £7 a night - I think they even charge people or drop off now too, what a rip off. When I was a kid I used to ride down and loiter around the airport on a Saturday afternoon playing on the arcade machines and eating a pack lunch on the concourse - bet I’d get nicked now if I tried that!
