both of my cameras are still dead and dont work, i submise they have a system designed to not work after a few years so you buy new cameras , both cameras did the same exact thing at the same time, both stealth and even different models another scam revealed
I have the G42NG, quit working after two and 1/2 years. Powers up, shows waiting and then shuts off. I tried the reset, didnt work either. I emailed stealth cam and never got a response. I have three wild game innovation cameras that were half the price and have worked flawlessly, just replaced a browning that worked for almost eleven years. I bought another stealth cam as it was 1/2 price. If it doesnt last more than three years I wont buy another stealth cam. Thanks for posting.
the same one that I have and its giving me problems. Just bought it December of 2018. now it doesn't even power like its suppose too. I'll put new Duracell lithium batteries in them it comes on for about five seconds and says waiting - then, shuts off..
I've got the same camera. Never opened it for a couple of years as I had a Bushnell. Did the exact same thing! WTF. Junk. The Bushnell was good but case leaked and screwed up the battery box. Any recommendations for a brand?
I called customer service they told me to do the same. I've done it and nothing. I asked if I needed a firmware update and the said that I didn't need one because they only offering the firmware update for the Cellular models.
@@jethroboot I really think that's what they plan... I called customer service and they have in order(back order) a new up to date cam.. G45NGX but when asked for an arrival time they couldn't give me one. so, I thinking that deer seasons is going to be out by the time I receive it. with that being said - I paid the freight for quick overnight delivery for my old cam and gave them the tracking number to start the process to get mine delivered as the customer service rep told me to do and that's been over two weeks ago - still haven't received my new cam. I called to check on it this past Friday the 22 of Nov 2019 and they still haven't sent it out But they did replace it with a newer model just slow on shipping.
@@ronniebo1you actually got someone to answer the customer service number? That phone number rings on the moon. Stayed on hold for an hour and no one ever picked up. I will never buy a stealth cam again. Never.
