Your best off to set the cam on Qset6. Short video mode, allows you to see what’s really going on, & the ability to hear noises while recording, is really cool! I get many blank shots on windy days, when things are blowing around, I simply delete those from my computer, as I scan through them. Hope this helps. I had the change out my batteries, & lost my settings. Had forgotten how to set it up. Thanks for creating this short video! 😊
Wish I would have seen this before buying one. Bought at Costco is Rockwall Texas for $99.99. It takes descent pictures and video, but app for iPhone 6S Plus doesn’t work. As a matter of fact, when you do an internet search for this camera, your video is the only thing you can find on it. Did you ever get the phone adapter to work? I think I’m returning mine to Costco.
No, I never got it to work. I still put up the camera because I needed one quickly, but I bring a small laptop with me to check the images. Thanks for watching!
I bought this camera and set it up yesterday. As everyone else says, the app/card reader doesn't work (iPhone 7). It only took one picture and that was of me two feet from it trying to take out the card (I know there were animals out there last night as the corn cobs I threw out there after dinner were partially eaten). The camera gives no indication whatsoever if there are pictures on the card. I will likely be returning this to Costco. Thumbs down.
Were you able to set the date and time stamp? I’ve tried several times. After the quick set I pressed menu. The date finally appeared and I set it. After I pressed menu. It went back to quick set. Can you help with this?
Richard Charron No, I have it hanging in the forest on time lapse video setting, which works good. Battery life is pretty good, as it’s been taking videos for over 3 months on the same batteries. Otherwise, it’s all the same!
I'm 63 yrs old. You went through the settings as though this kind of stuff was already in existence when you were born. I wasn't. It's obvious you stopped and started this video a few times, and missed a procedure or two. Slow it down for us old timers please. Still can't get it set up properly, based on what you showed. Holy snappin! Looking for a more complete setup procedure.
