Some scenes recorded on the 18th of May 2024, of Steam Locomotive 6029 with assistance of 4001 hauling shuttles between Thirlmere to Picton and return, while 3265 & 3001 ran push and pull shuttles to Buxton and return.
Very clear footage, love the whistle, I expected there to be more people there, so I didn’t go. Looks like a good day for everyone. Thanks for sharing.
thanks mate, only used mobile phone. We got down there about midday as we were booked on an evening run from thirlmere to Picton, but we all decided it was to cold to hang around to 1800 so we headed home. I hope all is going okay with you.
