Steam locomotives in the Palatinate | 40 years of the cuckoo train (4K) 

On the long weekend from 30 May to 2 June, the Kuckucksbähnel museum railway celebrated its 40th anniversary. In addition to its own steam locomotive 378.78, the T3 930 of the Swabian Alb Railway and the V100 1019 of the Ulm Railway Friends were in operation.
The 13 km long museum railway connects Lambrecht with Elmstein and runs along the Speyerbach river. Several times a month, museum trains run along the scenic route in the Palatinate Forest. The cuckoo train is operated by the railway museum in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
