STEAM POWERED CHINA 

This is unimaginable. I live near the Datong Locomotive Factory, and even I graduated from its kindergarten. I can hardly imagine the story of this land 40 years ago. Now, the factory no longer produces steam locomotives, but there is still a "forward(前进qianjin)" steam locomotive in the yard. Thats lucky to see your video!

I wish there were more videos of the Chinese 4-6-2's on RU-vid.

in a way, the steam whistles on these locomotives sound similar to the whistles heard on CPR's steamers
