This was filmed at the end of the NTET driver training weekend and shows how difficult it is handling these beasts when they loose traction. They eventually get it onto the low loader with a combination of wood, sacks and ashes
Yeah, I don't even know how these particular machines are put together... hence my question. (I'm sure it's possible to build a steamer that can do what I suggested... but I suppose these aren't.)
James Peter Brett the gradient it actually had to climb was pretty small and it was only 30 cm or so long ramps so it could have gone up fine backwards
