You get extreme bonus points for putting your own spin on the dialog using coherent sentences instead of mixing thousands of individual syllables together into a word-for-word mish-mash.
The way Nick says “the whole city” at 2:21 just perfectly captures this feeling of dread and hopelessness, like he’s entirely convinced in that moment that all of New Orleans has been held captive in Coach’s kitchen
i always interpreted it as amazed wonder. like wouldn't you have a similarly wonderstruck reaction if someone claimed to have a whole city in their kitchen?
@@deutschlipinoblazer3976 he appears briefly in the "coach and the nicholas" bit actually! in the shot where coach pulls a knife on nick. he's lying dead in the background. coach has killed and he will kill again.
Ellis: "Did I ever tell you about the time me and my buddy Keith were firefighters? Third degree burns over 90% of Nick's body! Oh, you were there." Nick: "I hate you, Ellis."
Am I the only one who legit thought this was just another redub of an overused meme, only to be caught off guard with surprisingly smooth lines that mimic the original? 10/10
Left 4 Dead 2 has an absolutely absurd amount of character dialogue. Rochelle has the least lines of every l4d2 character and she still has over 2,000. The L4D1 cast has considerably less, but even still the lowest is Bill with 1200. If you add all their lines up, there are over 11,000 unique voicelines in game.
@@sheacorduroy5565 I'd love to see a Bill/Francis combo or Bill/Zoey. Either way, I didn't realize there were so many voice lines between both games! That's amazing.
Like a good translation of foreign-language media, it doesn't just take the source and directly translate it (sentence mixing), but instead finds similar, applicable idioms and turns-of-phrase. seibmoz managed to make the greatest Steamed Hams meme by being true to the spirit of it, not the "letter" of it. This is one of my all-time favorite RU-vid videos. Thank you.
the level of animation detail on this is fantastic, everything from the ear flick to the jaw wiggle at 0:53. It just makes the whole thing even funnier.
"Poor food never stood a chance... but I ain't stupid neither, the Burger Tank is right across the street. We coulda already been there and back by now. He he he, don't think we got much choice in the matter." I love how the things they say are functional but counterintuitive, like they are not the words I'd expect real people to chose even though they still convey the intended meaning.
"Thanks, Coach, that was holy SHIT! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" "Don't worry, that's just New Orleans." "What?! NEW ORLEANS! You have got...the whole city...through that door...everything trapped in one room?" "Yeah!" "...Can I see?" "...SHIT, naw!"
Honestly I have to call this the best version of Steamed Hams I will ever see. It's just so wonderfully unique and original but not a complete off-the-rails recreation, it's true enough to the source but with a perfect deviance. Bravo, sir, bravo.
BritMachine If the Workshop community is any indication, then I'd say it definitely is still very popular. It probably has one of the best Workshops on Steam. You could spend dozens of hours just browsing all of the mods and add-ons.
Every once in a while I have to come back here, and pay homage to this video after having quotes from it make up about 40% of my daily vocabulary since 2018
"No girl, it's just New Orleans" seibmoz you're doing god's work, really, I think I speak for all of you'r fans when I say that we appreciate the work you put into these animations
It is, but moreso yet it is a name. And of the two names Coach is only a nickname based on his job, while Nicholas is the name of the man and you don't normally say "the Name".
I like the implication of Coach’s alibi that, since there’s nothing on the stovetop, he is just casually boiling peanuts inside of the oven. What a power move.
Hex Entertainment That was the most fastest reply I've ever witnessed in my entire life. I literally, no joke, just left to watch Steamed Hams but in Hotline Miami.
This is one of the most creative Steamed Hams parodies I've ever seen! New and unique dialogue, perfect sentence mixing, the works! Also bonus points for Burger Tank, just beautiful!
