Thank you for taking the time to create this great tutorial. I had the option of purchasing this one or the Singer. I purchased the Steamfast because of you. I love it!
Hi. Thank you so much for an excellent video. Your very informative video encouraged us to buy it and so far it’s working great for pressing sheets. Thank you!!
thank you for doing this video. I just received my Steam Press today and was trying to understand how it worked. Your video was right on point. Thank You
Thanks so much for this informative video. I did buy on Amazon for $240 and I got the stand for it. Excited to use it I hate ironing. 😀 because of your video now I know what I’m getting into thanks again.
I ordered mine a couple months ago but have not used it yet I need a day to do video and this was great I’m now confident that I can plug it up and use it thanks
Thanks for this descriptive video. I just received this steam press for Christmas. I plan on using it to save time with applying interfacing to tote bags I make. After watching your video , I feel confident that I made a good decision in asking for this unit as a gift. 😊
Just purchased today for my sewing crafts, clothing/quilts. The only problem was the video was kinda dark, need more lighting in the future, other than that, great review and easy demo on how it works. Thank you.
Great video, very clear explanation and direction. I purchased the HomeTronix Electronic Steam Iron, which is a similar model. I have found it very helpful.
I bought the steam fast SF-623 I had expectations with this after watching videos. After one pair of pants I find that my iron does a better job maybe your model does a better job than the SF-623
@@chaircoverschicago neither did I I clicked on it on Amazon thought it’d be great feels a bit off IMO imma return it and spend the extra $100 for the $680 I want firm results like I see online for starched jeans and shirts
Thanks, really helps to see before purchasing! Not sure if I'm going to get one but I sure want one for fabric yardage for quilting and for interfacing t-shirt fabric for t-shirt quilts.
I have been researching for a steam press for a long time to use for slacks. Your video was excellent and detailed. I am shortlisting this product. Thanks!
An Angel from fb let me borrow this unit from her! I honestly just need a heat press but DAMN! THIS UNIT IS IMPRESSIVE!!! (no pun intended) I haven't decided yet if I'm going to purchase one or just a cheaper heat press. The size and durability of this is def appealing!!! (I'm still in shock that she let a virtual stranger borrow this magnificent device!) There are still good people around, folks! They're the ones we need to protect at all costs! Thanks for the tutorial! I wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing before operating it bc I'd feel HORRIBLE if I damaged this beauty!
Thanks, Allen. I received mine and used it for the first time today. I tried it out on pillowcases and sheets. Would you mind showing how you would steam a top sheet? Thanks!
I haven't done any sheets but I have done many many tablecloths, I imagine they would be similar to iron. When I get some time I'm going to put together a quick video.
Thanks for this review. Given the length of the board is 25" long , atleast 5" less than an average adult L shirt or Tee, this may take between 6-8 presses to complete a shirt. It is not clear whether business wear - pants with creases can be pressed. Any additional inputs will be helpful.
Cool! I like it too, great machine 👍 Thanks for the compliment too, I tried to make it so that it shows everything there is to know about the steam press.
Thanks for the review, after checking several recommendations, decided to go with this one, hope it works on jeans! Went with your recommendation ordered via Amazon. I’ll let you know my thoughts!
I actually use it on jeans sometimes and it works great. It's a good machine overall. Worth every dollar. Thanks for buying through my Amazon link too. Come back and let me know what you think of it after you use it a few times.
Thanks for this video. Can you tell me how much space is required for this on all sides, especially from front to back for opening the handle. Trying to figure out where it could fit. Also, can you use it without steam? Thanks.
Yes I still like the steam press. I use it all the time, almost daily. I can't recommend another brand because this is the only one that I have owned. Rotary irons are usually bulky and cost thousands of dollars compared to a steam press which is a few hundred dollars.
Hi there 👍 this steamer is almost the same as the one I have at home 😊 Could I please ask a question Do I need some kind of heat protection on the top part of My Steamer. Many thanks for all your videos 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi, how do you clean the top plate that heats up like an iron. I use mine a lot and my hot part is brown with stains. I am frustrated as my quilting fabric is getting stained. Thanks for any help.
Correct. Steam only releases when you press the button on the handle. Some material dont require steam so I like the fact that I can control when steam is released. Make sure you use distilled water too.
Thank you for your review of this product! I do have a question that may need a follow up picture if you don't mind.. I have a few uniforms that need crisp "lines" down the center of the shirt. Does this function more as an ironing board, or is there a picture demonstration where you can show it actually presses the shirt into a nice line? Thank you again!!
Now that you have had the steamer for over a year do you feel it was a good purchase. I have seen reviews that it leaks oil or rust on clothes did you have any experience like that or is product dangerous to use did you get burned.
It was a good purchase for sure. It doesn't leak anything at all and still works like the day I got it. I am still using it almost daily for my linen rental business. It's not dangerous to use. Just dont touch the hot plate and no worries. Did you buy one?
I always leave the water in it and don't have problems. I just tried to remove or slide it out and I wasn't able to slide it out. I tried pulling it a bit but stopped because I didn't want to break it. Let me know if this answers your question.
@@MaythamNoor I don't know if you can. I don't use it everyday, when I store it there is always a little water in it. I just lay it flat when I store it .
