TOOLS & MATERIALS USED
✂ medium weight chipboard (1.5mm)
✂ craft cardstock (about 120gsm - 40lb cover)
✂ craft cardstock (about 176gsm - 65lb cover)
✂ 1/4 inch wide double sided tape
✂ glue (tacky glue is great)
✂ scissors
✂ craft knife (and mat)
✂ ruler
✂ ink and ink blender
✂ design papers print on 160gsm - 59lb cover paper
✂ fillings for the shaker (small cogs, sequins,... anything small and flat)
✂ piece of acetate
✂ journal pages (print on regular paper) and/or tea dyed papers and/or ✂ other papers
✂ light weight chipboard (grey board)
✂ awl or small hole punch
✂ (tea dyed) muslin
✂ needle & thread
✂ clips (to hold in place)
✂ pencil

I absolutely love working with steampunk designs. This is one of my favourite themes to use in my crafting. There is however, one part of this particular project that has me super curious: how are the ATC cards made? I would love to see a tutorial for them please.

Alexandra, I ABSOLUTELY Love this! You are beyond creative... I love how you see and create things others do not. I wasn't really interested in this kit until I seen what you have done with it... you have taken this paper kit to the next level creating 10 x more interest, perfection! Great tips too! Can you please make a video on how you embelished the ATC cards and inside the pages????? I am especially interested in how you made the watch...

I always wondered how I could possibly make something so elaborate looking and this tutorial gives me everything I need step by step I have to say, this is just so professionally done, very succinct but somehow it is easy to watch and follow along. Tinne, I have been watching Alexander for years on her channel and she does amazing work. The journals and boxes and covers that she does are just beautiful and she comes up with things I haven't seen before such as the shaker spine or putting a circle border around an image on a page, such as the cover she did on this one, or even the shaker element she put on the cover page. The steampunk paper collection is awesome and one day I will be able to afford to buy a collection. I found you when you did the dragon one, and since then I can't seem to choose which ones I like and then you did this one. I'm not too much into the junk journal looks, but you have some amazing paper collections for everyone to choose from.

Here's the definition ^^ steampunk /ˈstiːmpʌŋk/ noun a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology. "if you like steampunk, this is a great book for you" a style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features inspired by science fiction. "the essence of steampunk is homage to vintage fashion with a modern, sassy twist"

I agree with Shelly Scholting regarding the cost of your kits. They are beautiful, but unfortunately, at the cost of printer toner, cardstock, and the cost of your kits, the project cost is just unattainable for someone who is on a fixed income. But I still do check your shop and have subscribed to your channel in hopes to find something that fits my budget. Thanks for all your unique designs.

Dankjewel! Dat hoekjeslatje heet in het Engels een corner miter. Hier zijn een paar voorbeelden: www.etsy.com/market/corner_miter_tool Maar je kan ze op amazon enzo vast ook wel vinden. Wordt vooral in het boekbinden gebruikt.

Is there a video to show how you do the gold foiling? Is it just die cuts and gold foil cardstock? Beautiful work! This has to be one of my favorites.
