The crossbow just got a deadeye scope, which makes it the first scoped primitive weapon in the game! I played it for a few hours on the first day of launch, and this video features 3 of my best rounds with this weapon from the first day of playing it. Enjoy!

Man I thought the spear not rendering was just my hardware maybe having trouble keeping up. lol. Fortunately I can run the new Hunt, but I gotta keep low-medium settings. A buddy of mine can barely even run the game at all now.

Doubt it.. it's Crytek Afterall. I stopped playing due to their nonsense. For certain time kept dying to the same team of solos teaming up and abusing self revives..that lasted for a few days, recorded them, reported them cause it's annoying to waste my free time on a videogame and In return getting a big frustration ... anyway to skip to the point, the answer from Crytek was - sorry for inconvenience but ATM we cannot deal with this matter, but they can deal with releasing a new skin every 2nd day.

I'm sorry for your experience, I had bad situations as well (the majority was to be killed because I'm a woman), but I decided to find some hunt friends to play with and mute the external voice chat, and problem was sorted 👍

Crossbow with steel bolt and shot bolt, paired with a match is what got me to 6 star. I did notice you used regular bolts at closer ranges, but when I tested steel bolt and regular bolt in the firing range, they both 1 shot chest from about 27 meters. So what is the benefit of regular bolts?

@@REXNOR_TV I did some more testing today and found that they do have the same 1 shot range to the chest, but the regular bolts do more damage to limbs at all ranges and can 1 shot arms at like 5 meters.

It is, but you only can find it in the overworld and dont buy it with points. So you have to be lucky to find it. And once your Hunter with it dies you have to find it again

Dang, if you can get somebody actually banned for that it would be crazy. You can get a person you want reported in your match that talks in game(doesn’t say anything bad), file a in-game report, then after have your buddy change his name to the same and time a queue together and make a clip/video of your buddy with that name on the enemy team saying slurs. Not saying that guy should be talking like that in-game, but it’s an easy thing to fake also because of how easy steam name change and q’ing into your friends on purpose is in hunt. Of course if it was a streamer you’d need to use an AI voice to sound like them if your friend doesn’t already. Too bad it takes an insane amount of proof to ban a cheater in the same game.

I am a Crytek partner and their behaviour was far from OK. It is bleeped in the video because it was really bad. This type of behaviour has no place in the game and as a partner it is part of my job to help make the game better for everyone.

Do you want this community to end up like a MOBA community? Because that's what you get when you try to normalize toxicity as if it makes you even a fraction of a percent more 'manly' or whatever the fuck. What did you expect him to do, make the problem worse or ignore it? I like my community not at risk of dying because it has a minimum of ontologically unlikable nerds in it, thank you very much. Game is hard enough for most people to get into as it is without having weird incels yell at them. That's not how you make it to 1897...
