Steel Curtain At Kennywood Closed For 2024 

It's such a shame that theme parks nowadays are super short staffed and just don't have enough people or money to operate or maintain the rides.

Kennywood is my home park. I can't begin to explain how frustrating this situation is. Ive been to park numerous times seeing this ride not operating. I like to look at it, but id rather ride it. Its been 5 years. Im ok with them closing it for the entirety of 2024. However, they need to get this fixed, and it needs to bw running consistently after this season. I love the ride. With Curtain and Phantom, thats a good 1-2 punch for a smaller park. I have no faith that they'll be able to fix it at this point. I'm honestly just exhausted with this coaster at this point. It sucks living 15 minutes from KW and only riding rhis ride about 15 times over a 5 year period

This video makes so much sense. It’s a great coaster, but man them not running. Two trains really hurts it.

A long term solution to keep it running tear it down and get a real coaster manufacturer to build one.

Never been there. But I was planning on it when I came back to PA. Guess I ain't getting that credit this year

The owner of S&S passed away a few yrs ago so this is gonna make things a little complicated. They should have spent the money on a B&M, can’t beat their reliability 👍🫠. All this coaster does is go upside down 50 billion times, should have done a better layout than what they got.

First, they never finished the whole themed area. Now, they clearly held back this info so they could sell more season passes. This park has gone downhill bigtime.
